I really dont get this obsession some have with currency and comparing prices with other countries. If you live here, settled here, you are never going to be happy until you cut that <deleted> loose. In my experience the big bike riders are never an issue, its somchai from the village thats the idiot. Very occasionaly you hear of someone whose ambitions overrule their cababilities buts thats quite rare.

I think it largely depends on where you are and how often you ride etc. It all varies so much in this country, The prevelent attitude I have encountered in my area is "cant be bothered" they would rather just pay a 200 baht fine IF they ever got pulled. Many dont seem to bother too much with any official licensing or even number plates ! YMMV

Huge difference in loving a woman, and being "in love" with a woman. I have never experienced the latter. I have thought maybe it was but it either wasnt or it wasnt what I thought it was going to be. I prefer to say I have yet to experience the emotion so often described in so many stories by so many writers.
