  1. But Bangkok I think have now behind Phuket and Samui the most vaccinated persons. This also could help to reduced (or let's say not grow) the amount of person have to go hospital.
  2. Sometimes I can agree, but you also have to be on the topic. BHP for example the Owner even in his first sentence spelled as Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. Central was mentioned one time in this whole part (and I think not even of interest about the topic)! The same for many other shorts (CW in Bangkok for Immigration everyone should know it's Chaeng Wattana). If I read a thread about something I have no clue, then yes it's sometimes difficult to follow. Of course it's the best if someone use in the first mention the complete name and in brackets the shortcuts so everyone would know! But there are so many famous letters, which someone who are living in that area should know! When you talk about banks, then (SCB, GSB, LH, K-Bank, ... ) should be more than enough, as this are the official short-wordings!
  3. This logo normaly can be removed with some alcohol. Actually on every new car the film hat this prints on. I told the dealer to remove the name and logos of the film. No problem at all... even 1 times they forget 2 to remove 2 prints... told them and about 5 minutes later they were removed.
  4. This depends, on some places you can do the 90 day reporting online without any problems or use the mail in. And even with the elite visa you have to do the 90 day (if you stay BKK the Elite person will do it for you) but you also can hire an agent to do it for you if online is not working and you not want go in person. So the 90 not factor in difference for this 2 options.
  5. Are you serious? If you are married, then think which one you want go (Married extension is cheaper but you have to go to immigration always 2 times per year one time including your wife. And of course also a little bit more documents involved). Elite Visa more expensive, but less running arround. But if you not married I would strongly disagree to marry only for the visa purpose. Then better go the Elite way!
  6. UPnP can do the PortForward things automatically. I am not a fan of the UPnP and always disable it, as I want to know which ports are open and why. Not that any program is allowed to open ports on my router. But yes I think there are not many things left (for normal users) which need the use of Portforwards. One big exception seem torrent which I not use. Then VPN to access your infrastructure from outside.... And then there is the big problem that more and more ISPs hide you behind the NAT, so you can't use it anymore. This is one part I always check with a new ISP first, before I made my real change to the new ISP. It's worth for me to pay 1-2 month 2 ISPs only to make sure the new ISP really give me what I expect (never trust on the word of the seller), before I cancel the old one.
  7. I am very sorry, but you not have a lot of knowledge about NAS (maybe not even about IT in general)! Your solution is for sure an option for private usage but far away from safe, and has not much in common with a person who is interrested in a NAS solution. only your speaking of RAID is of no use sorry you even know what a raid 5 or raid 6 is? I think no further comments about the rest of your text.
  8. Exactly for that event is the snapshot the perfect solution. If a ransomware overwrite all my data (as long there is enough space), as all old files will still be stored. If a ransomware would really hit me, then I would load an older snapshot. But let's hope nothing will happen. I still have around 20% free on my NAS for Snapshots. In normal usage a snapshot not use that much space, as most files you not edit all the time.
  9. The big question is, are you in the first or second batch. This could be you register in june, but because many others register before you.. that you now in the second batch which already was announced to be in march or something similar next year. As long we not know if really all moderna is delayed or your SMS only refers to the second batch as you were "too late" for the first batch.
  10. In general I agree with you. Because of that if it's necessary then only via VPN. I have seen many which open their NAS to the public without any measures except a password and a username ????. Same with the Router! Or check how many private webcam's are available over the internet freely to see... I not remember the site anymore but there is one which you can see many millions of different users at home, because they use their standard password or other faulty settings in their camera!!!
  11. most ISP you can ask to clear this. I had before CS Loxinfo, and it worked... now I am with True and after talking with customer service I can use it again. So let's say I can talk about this 2 ISPs and if you talk to them they can solve the problem for you! But with ToT/CAT.. I have no experience it talking to some technician will help or not. With True I have arranged it. And this was about 1 year ago when I changed. I at that time keept my CS LoxInfo in case True would not solve the problem I would cancel True again and stay with CS LoxInfo... I would guess that is exactly the problem that you are behind a NAT.
  12. You setup a VPN server on the NAS (even better on the Router if it's supported). Then you create a ddns address with your IP. So you can then connect from everywhere via VPN to the NAS. The only way which you should connect the NAS from outside! Better of course if your NAS is not accessible at all from outside. But if have to then only via VPN!
  13. About putting your NAS in another house, then you have to deal with the network speed for up- and download. Also you have to make sure you can access the NAS from outside (which should be done only by a VPN)! Because you not want give easy access to your information to everybody on the world. There are many script kiddies which like to try to hack you only for fun. About why RAID 5, this is because if you use mirroring, then for 4 drives... you only can use 2 of them as the other 2 are copies. If you use raid 5, then you could use 3 drives and only 1 drive is used for security. (Raid 5 equals 1 security drive, raid 6 2 security drive) this mean with raid 5 1 drive can crash and you still have no data lost. with raid 6, 2 drives can crash and no data lost. with the mirroring if 2 drives crash out of 4, then you have 50% chance that no data lost and 50% changes that half the data is gone! Normaly with 2 drive you use mirroring, with 3 up you use raid 5 or if let's say 5 or more then maybe raid 6 is desired. The synology Hybrid Raid makes it only easier to change and upgrade, if you not that expert or to lazy to take care of all the small steps. In my opinion it's not bad. there are again 2 option of SHR-1 and SHR-2 (which is more or less equal to raid 5 and 6). Yes the Sinology and QNAP are quit expensive for what you really become. But both of them are worth their money. As they take care a lot of the problems. And give you also many many other additional benefit which over the time you maybe will become interested. (Plex-Server, Synology-Drive, Snapshot-Replication to name a few). Hope I had explain it enough, that your questions are answered. I have myself 2 Synology NAS (DS1817+ / DS1510+). Both still run in perfect condition even the older one I only use as security backup. You maybe also think for a small UPS?
  14. that this is Ilegal, you have to tell the police. As I see also many police car which have their official car tinted the front window that dark. Not even talk about many other private cars!
  15. I hope you will continue your work with this graph. Always was looking on it. Anyway thanks for the great work in the past.
  16. Maybe too dark film at the front window? I see many car who have in front that dark you can not look inside at all. So this will be problematic in nighttime, because this mean more difficult to look out! Maybe not the street are too dark, but the light not enough to compensate the dark film.
  17. if you not have insurance, and are willing to pay "brown envelopes" then you have a chance you will be OK. Only wish you good luck, that you not run into something very big money Issues.
  18. Yes, this can work also in the future. Till you have an accident with a bigger amount involved, and then the Insurance company will be very happy to deny any responsibility as you not have any valid documents! Good luck
