Many assume he not renew his visa (extension) because of financials. But I not read anything about this. It also could be that he was so scared about covid (745 days little bit over 2 years) and not want to leave the house and renew his extension because of that. As here is always so much speculation but we never will know the truth. Yes, he did wrong, and he will be deported. But the reason why we do not know. And you also can't take every word in the story as too many times there were translation errors as well. How many times I see the word billion translated to German as billion (German billion equals trillion in English)

Hello, I would like to know if anybody know about this Insurance company *VUMI*. I have Cigna International (Silver plan) right now and was looking for other Insurances like April for example. Then I came to the VUMI, which has according to their website similar benefits as Cigna or April.. but a yearly limit of 3 million US$ (VuMI Global Flex Basic). They state their are under UK Law, which seems good. But as I not that knowledable in health things (never used a hospital in the last 30 years, but who knows about the future), I wanted to see if maybe someone has any knowledge about them.

Bangkok Rama 2 Office also not want use the Pink ID and use the Passport instead. But additional as 3 of my bank accounts, some membership cards are linked with my Pink ID instead of passport.. and there is the same advantage.. no need of changing the Passport number after a new one.

As this is now about 2 years since, my bank changed the input form, so I am now not 100% sure anymore. But there were I think about 3 fields which were miss used for a swift transfer at that time. I am happy that the bank changed it for less confusion.

For foreigners it's more complicated to use another testing facility. For Thais it's easily doable. They can renew their permit everywhere inside Thailand. For myself in Bangkok, I even have to use the correct place. Last time want going to taling, but according to my residental address I had to go to Rama 2. Or of course Mo-Chit as main place, which will work always (not sure only for BKk or as well for non BKK residents).

I think you only put a SWIFT code into the IBAN field...Earlier my bank has this system in case of swift put the swift code into the IBAN field.. but this not meant, that the 2 system were compatible. it's still 2 different systems

I'm fine with that. From this point of view.. you have to understand, that going up an elevator take a lot of extra time which I guess they not become paid. Of course if you pay extra tip than it's another story... At my condo... nothing is allowed to enter without the owner or renter permision. Even big deliveries (Sofa, Frigo), you have to go down to pick them up and let them up in the cargo elevator. And I think that's one kind of security. If the condo let in every person, then in my opinion the security is of no use at all, as everybody can go up and break into your room.

When you leave Thailand without re-entry permit, mean you have to do a new O-visa (or whatever longstay visa you have) outside, before you come back Thailand. In case you come back without, mean when you are at immigration you will be stamped for 30 days (Visa Exempt or whatever you are entitled to). So if you leave after your doing your extension, then the extension will be void. You have to start again! I think it's much simpler to do a re-Entry than a new extension.

When a hotel wants a security deposit, this can only be done with a credit card or cash. A debit card will not work the same. On a credit card the can put a hold on some money, which will be released again at the end. With a debit card the money is gone from your account right away. That's the reason why a credit card is so much easier for car rental as well.

they only want an updated bank book. So you can do this online transfer 10 baht to this account. then remove the 10 baht again.... UPdate the bank book on the automatic machine outside the bank, do a photo copy.... All can be done before 8:30 (if the Update book works!)

My guess is, that you should go to a doctor. Else you can't hold on a document, that you had covid. When there will be a test in the near future than it could be that it shows you have/had covid.. and then this document is important, that you can prove you had covid before and this the reason your tests show positiv... Wait and see what others answer....

Are you sure, the value of your car is not lowered? As your premiums were lower every year. Check your new documents again very good, as normaly the Thai Insurance company reduce the amount automatically every year...

it's not 100% true.... if the airline still need a PCR Test, then even after 1st April you need to do the PCR! This new rules only affects people who fly with an airline who not need PCR Tests before flight.

The Incorrect information is, that immigration update your 90 day automatic when you do your extension! Some (seems Phuket) do, but most don't do it. And if someone believe your statement and not stay in Phuket he would then have to pay a fine, because he were thinking his report was updated. As always it's better to name it and say Phuket Immigration do an automatic update of 90 days.
