I did a Wise transfer a couple of weeks ago, and I did tell them it was for long stay. After it go deposited into my Kasikorn Account here in Bangkok, this is what my online transaction says. I don't know know if this matter, but I sent the money from my Canadian Bank account to Wise as a bill payment (I was doing online banking.

I have use Raja (Jesse) and I didn't like the work they did on the trousers. The shop I use is Emporium Tailors, they are located on Sukhumvit 29-31 right across Soi 22 just before the Brazilian Steak house. Vini is a good guy, if I had any problems, he would correct them. Here's there website. http://www.emporiumtailors.com

How early can I renew driving licence at Morchit DLT?
dsj replied to soi3eddie's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
If you go right after it expires in June, then when you renew you will get almost six years out of. So if it expires on June 26th and renew before then it would expire June 26, 2027 (your Birthday). If went on June 27th or later then it would expire June 26th 2028. They base it on the next 5 years of your birthday. -
When thing they haven't taken into consideration is that the test and go doesn't resume until Feb 1 and if the first time it took over a week to get approval. It will take time for people to find hotel room, find airline tickets, get medical insurance, pre departure PCR test and most airlines have a limited flight schedules to Thailand. I would also imagine that people would have booked holidays someone else for February.

I got my Moderna booster shot 12 weeks after my second Astra Zeneca, and I just got my 4th Moderna 4 weeks after the 3rd, (I know, but I had already paid for the 2 Moderna shots, and didn't want them to go to waste). After my 3rd and 4th shots, I had no side effects. -
You can try to put it in Airplane mode and keep you wifi on. Just have to remember to turn off airplane mode when you don't have wifi.

I have an old iPhone that I strictly use with a Canadian Sim card (my Canadian plan has unlimited calls to any number in Canada, and I usually talk for about 500 mins a month and it only costs me my monthly plan). All I do is to go into settings put phone into airplane mode, keeping wifi on, then I go and turn on Wi-fi calling. I know it works with True and AIS. The one thing to remeber, even thou you are using wifi calling, you will be still be charged for air time minutes.

Now, as you can do it 30 days ahead of expiry. as DrJack says some immigration offices allow up to 45 days. As a safe bet, consider no more than 30 days before extension expiry.

What a waste of money, if they planned the overpass before building, then they could've moved it to a different location. -
Visa for Thai Spouse going to the USA, B2 or K3
dsj replied to koratkarlos's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
I don't know if this is the right area to post. My Thai wife has a valid Visa for USA until 2017 and she just recently legally changed her first name and kept the same last name and getting a new passport. I would like to know (I am a Canadian and been married for 15 years, got married in Canada) if she went to USA and showed her old passport with the valid visa and old first name, with her new passport with new first name, we a certified translation of the name change from MFA, would the USA accept that when she tried to enter the States. I tried to go onto their website to setup an appointment but they won't let me log in as it tells me that the email is incorrect format. Even when I tried the email address that I used the last time I renewed her Visa. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -

Anyone have good results buying Win10 key on Lazada?
dsj replied to gamb00ler's topic in IT and Computers
Actually if you have an old copy of windows 7 or 8 you can use that key to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. Also if you are using windows 10 Home, and you have Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 pro, you can use those keys to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, that's what I did for my daughters computer. Here is a couple of articles off of zdnet.com https://www.zdnet.com/article/heres-how-you-can-still-get-a-free-windows-10-upgrade/ https://www.zdnet.com/article/going-pro-how-to-upgrade-windows-10-home-without-hassles/ -
I got rejected twice, as I tried the second time, so I went in person this morning and did my reporting. I ask the lady why my last 2 90 day worked by doing it online, and she because it's a new system. So hopefully my next 90 day report will be able to do online. As a side note, I check on the new website on the status and it didn't show the report I did today.
