  1. Open? the only thing new is you won't need to quarantine other than that not seeing it in writing one still need to C.O.E. buy insurance and get tested before and after. One down many more to go!
  2. Tomorrow there will be another study? Just like eggs? Just like Coffee? By any chance Dr Fauci have anything to do with the study?????
  3. No is saying ignore them! You see anything in my post that uses the word ignore? The saying never put your eggs in one basket! If you get your head out of the sand this is a big world that includes a lot of people different people whether they match the Thai skin color or not. A balance approach regardless of how many the reason the world and Thailand are having problems is because of the Chinese! Your approach is the reason why big business and countries won't speak up because they have $$$$ to gain. Up to now even with their great sinovac and sinopham approved instantly by the W.H.O has their people locked down unable to travel ever try to put things together and ask yourself Why? I have lots of relatives in China they tell me once for Thailand is good enough it has nothing really to offer you can see the temples and elephant <deleted> on YouTube/
  4. Bold move! OK if he say so! Bold is to open now and let get on with ones life and what is surely to come instead of all the dreaming it has been close to two years one would think with that time one could get their <deleted> together? Bold is open without any restriction not slowly crack the door an CM then slam it back close the next day!
  5. Before I give you my answer based on what is being said 2 million over 4 years interest today for a vehicle loan is like 2.25% his payment would be something like 50,000 baht a month there is no way regardless of it being a government job able to pay the loan the outcome is very obvious reason no ONE has stepped up to help him! Second, the ex is stupid reason hopefully why she dump the stupid ass! the number and reason don't add up " Government Job " and you need a 2 million vehicle yea right. ANSWER NO! one should be happy she told you but regardless if she says Yes, pack your bags and get the hell out because there is more to the relationship because the outcome is if granted you will be leaving sooner or later!???? but of course the best Thai way is to smile and politely say no but check each day to make sure the house book is there there?????
  6. I seriously doubt many of the online comments have a clue? Worrying about testing there wouldn't have been a problem Thai leaders all they need to do is look in the mirror as to the problem of the outbreak it isn't the foreigners it is the greed of your leaders who didn't see a problem allowing migrants into the country without being tested they couldn't even handle those small numbers???? I do see as a foreigner the problem?
  7. China? Here we go again! ???? These so call leaders do have a one track mind!
  8. When the leaders talk slow ZZZZZZZZZ! open Nov 1st? ease into it? but he does care about the people that they can't suffer another setback! ???? Sneek that one in Dec 1st for Entertainiment! Why not just open them up and have them serve only EggNog for the holiday?
  9. If you really want to open " open it without any restrictions " anything less is just a typical cat and mouse game that these leaders always like to play! No Airline is going to operate their full schedule until the restrictions are gone! Keep dreaming maybe one of those dreams will actually pan out?
  10. I'm into being consistent! Why just us? when the leaders start to demand within their own like bringing in illegal immigrates to work without being tested or vaccinated moving them around the country to work I will be glad to follow the piper! I'm happy to have gotten my two shots of Pfizer which now is reported the protection wanders after six month will I be as lucky down the road to get a Pfizer booster? I'm an expat which is a small minority here in Thailand if I catch the virus even with my shots then it is highly likely came from a Thai so should everyone be required to stay and work in Thailand be vaccinated why just us? ????
  11. After reading the history Thanks! the back and forth denial especially from crook of a former mayor and officials who approved this project. In Pattaya, when I hear " environment review " I can't stop laughing I wonder what is the standard never seen a project refused here the money spent on these reviews are nothing but to enrich the reviewer and the person who does the recommendations! The story all the claims it wasn't me the more they claim it isn't the more it shows why the problem the building went up! The saying is follow the money! This is the same reason on WS they weren't able to tear down the buildings on the water front side at the meeting owners came and gave their story as to how the government land office approved all these illegal sales. These story confirms the amount of brown envelopes that were past around and how bold these official are to think no one is going to noticed. One thing I came away they should never allow this developer anywhere near Thailand know full well what was going on yet they continue to sell units you have to be pretty stupid and dishonest then take a walk. With the purchase owners this will never go away due to deep pockets the best thing is to rid everyone that had a hand in the government land office and rid the former Mayor his position now in government one wonders how many of these other projects have been approved throughout Thailand? It is best to take government money and just reimburse every buyer that is a win since the only people winning now are the lawyers. This monument of a joke everyday it stands just shows why leaders call Thailand " The land of Smiles "????
  12. Knowing the leaders don't have much fortitude or brain power I hope it happens but when they say open from past history don't expect the opening to be any wider than the crack in the puppet butt!????
  13. REQUIRED! There are lots of Thai clinic doing this right now. I did it just a few weeks ago from Pattaya and drove up North pretty close CM for a family funeral. Fine that clinic they are giving " Antigen " test I don't think I got the spelling right. The cost was 590 baht, within 15 minutes of the quick swab up my nose the result came back negative with a letter and the the tester attached and off we went with our 8 hour drive there was not one road inspection nor were we even asked up in the village for the test results. This is all you need for travel it isn't any good for out of the country! Good luck!
  14. " FAIR " THAT IS WHAT WORRIES ME AS AN EXPAT. APPLY THE THAI LAW THAT WOULD EQUAL NO EVIDENCE CASE CLOSE. PERSONALLY, the way they apply the law here with foreigners I'm in the camp like my brother and friends here if something like this happens first thing chop his ass up take him to a large body of water afar and dump him. Even in Thailand no one even his family is going to miss the traitor trash! ???? trash like this go missing everyday dime a dozen just ask the many ladies with kids working the bars and GoGo's!
  15. Another taught brain dead driver trying to undertake when there was no where to undertake? ????
  16. Not really open in the true sense! It has also been reported even by Thai sources in interview that the " Sandbox " isn't a success! OPEN IS REMOVING ALL THE BARRIERS STILL IN PLACE!
  17. Easy! everyone should have their moments let him have his!????
  18. When you scrape the bottom of the trash bin that is exactly what you will find. A Thai guy ( in general ) carrying a gun with 300,000 baht dig a bit deeper as to where the money might have come from to buy the so call land. Right now since this story came out with the admission of the wife prior behavior and habits she knows much more than she is coping too ( something smells ) When this is over I highly suggest the Swiss get rid of her. Asleep I think the plan was when she was awoke it would have been here husband dead their plan backfired?????????
  19. "Trust" I can just imagine the Thai leaders seeing this question and their reaction?????
  20. I'm going to chime in based on your question? But first try to narrow down and clarify your question right now the reason in my opinion you are getting a lot of different suggestion. What you do want a scooter or a big bike? You aren't going to get around traffic with a big bike. Where are you majority going to use the bike in the Pattaya area I ask this because you also stated " Thailand " unless you are transporting from province to province you aren't going to be able to take example a Honda Click to Bangkok even with bigger tires you can but it isn't going to very comfortable. Basically scooters are for use between 0-50 KM, and that is my opinion. My first bike was a Honda Click 110, still got it until you actually try it with bigger tires I know first hand it does make a difference. I put a bit wider rims 3.25 that allowed me to put 90/90 as large as 120 with a gas shock in the back and it does ride much steady and smoother that is why my next bike I wanted one that came with wider tires. At higher speeds with the click and tires it felt much more secured when I took it on Hwy 7, prior to all the toll booths. My longest trip on this scooter was to the end of Chon Buri and I return back on Hwy 7, on the side average 80 KM/H I felt a bit sorry for the bike although water cool when it is 40 C I feel that is a killer but I'm old school. My next bike turn out to be a 150 PCX wider tires now some would say still not enough of a comfortable ride I disagree when right out the showroom I took it down the road and replace the original shock with a 3500 set of Gas and it handles like a car the weight is better distributed with the gas tank in the middle and the frame and suspension is better compare to the click at high speed with more weight in the front you don't feel the front start to float and lift. If you aren't going to travel far I find one really don't need anything over 150 to kill yourself. I heard PCX is coming out with a 160 CC, I'm not a Yamaha guy but N-Max 155 is a good bike I heard although the rims are 13 inch but do have wider tires than the PCX, in test run it has out performed all the other bikes in that range, Aerox, ADV, I believe the AEROX at 155 CC has the largest and widest tires of them all the back tires I believe is 140/? it is also the cheapest starting at 66-68,000. I've consider moving up to a 300CC really like the looks of the new Yamaha X-Max and the new Honda 350 Scooter if you plan to travel to BKK and further give those a look they run 185,000 but being a middle size guy and not getting younger If it falls over and it will even if not riding. I purchased my PCX in 2012, December of 2020 I had turn the clock 100,000 KM plus right after that it started to smoke I took it to a particular shop had everything rebuilt 4000 baht today I have an addition 20,000 on the rebuilt thereafter I purchased 2000 baht worth of paint including clear coat took all the panels off and repainted all the panels best bike in my opinion. Good luck whatever you decide!
  21. The idiot who made the suggestion has motive since the suggestion goes against the science " get current with the times " he is got to be joking? Go to his bank account and one might see a big donation from the E-Cig lobbyist.????????
  22. Do all the suggestion mentioned also contact the condo management they should have a maintenance man on hand who might be able to answer some of your questions of course you better bring your wife to translate.
  23. My 2 cents, like anywhere else the bank owns the property always has the reason the notice is on the gate put there by the bank like in any situation until the owner pays off the loan the register owner is the bank. Being inside a development as noted what are the by laws of the development in Thailand from my experience many developments look good on the surface dig deeper which majority of buyers never dig or ask the question is looking over the books are to how much is being spent particular who isn't paying their fair share of the association each month. With developments requiring 51% ownership of Thais my experience is a good % aren't paying and the association good at sweeping beautification of the area but fail in applying their own rules. Sound familiar? Thailand, full of rules and laws but very little enforcement. While the place has been abandon it is still owned if the by-laws is strong and the place is well run internally the bank ( owner ) has the obligation to continue paying the monthly dues for upkeep if not the association should be strong enough to contact the bank and request payment if not paid put a judgement on the bank and property so when it is sold whatever past payment is recovered. Meantime, if the association can request a current homeowner living in a property to straighten up there should be something to tell the bank to also shape up! Majority of those on the board and bless them for their participation don't have a clue as to what is going on and allow the management company run the place to the ground even here in Thailand ownership has the power but don't know it the management company works for you.????
