As a parent of a young child I wouldn't give this vaccine to my kid no way. It's ironic how those with no kids can sit back and quote a person in a white lab coat and believe their data. Get back to me in a decade.
The schools are vaxing.....We were given a choice - but, no vax = no school....

Many good trades & craftsmen around Thailand....
Very seldom is a battered car to be seen, regardless of age.... That's a noticeable difference to other countries.....

Similar. I arrived here when I was 58 , for years I was a window cleaner , I could climb up the ladder , stand on a wall then haul the ladder up, put it down the other side ...then return. Now at 74 I get worried climbing 4ft up steps to clean a ceiling light.
Good reminder....
When I have to go up a ladder, the first thought is "I'm too old for this sh!t"......
That's about the only time that phrase announces itself....

When I buy a dashcam it will be one that does not have a screen, they are distracting, especially at night and entirely unecessary.
Oddly, it's never been distracting for me....Even at night it goes into a night mode that tones down the vibrancy.....
I have found GPS to be distracting because I'm always waiting for it to say or show something....
The dash cam is just kind of passively there....I just tend to forget it, then notice and - oh yeah it's there.....

I'll be 74 next month....This was my breakfast yesterday..... It's typical of most days, eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, non fat milk, & a salad of some sort <from our garden> with homemade bread....Other days it could be breakfast burritos, Belgian waffles, pancakes, or french toast.....Meals are always varied....
I intermittent fast, so a big breakfast & a 14:00 afternoon meal, then reset until the next day....I made pizza from scratch yesterday afternoon....
It's baseball season, so I'm usually watching the Giants season unfold - Feb to Oct.....
Some days the phones are around when we eat (I'll turn the sound off & glance at the game)..... It's about 50/50 phone-food wise....Some meals, no phones....
That's my gastronomical report of the day....
Got to go - time for breakfast..... Giants play at 8:45 today....
Possibly, I'm out of the age demographic - if so - disregard....

Actually the ones that attach to the mirror are okay. You can easily adjust the angle of the lens if you have adjusted the mirror. Mrs and I are ‘not exactly’ the same height never needed to adjust the lens after adjusting the mirror.
But be advised don’t get one where the camera picture is in the right side of the mirror.
Car cams seem to accept the temperatures here and keep working BUT do tend to come unstuck and you are likely to find it on the floor when you return to your vehicle.
Yes best to get one with a rear camera.
Ours is a windshield suction type mount & has held strong compared to others we've had....
I have it snugged up just at the bottom of the mirror so the mount is on the darkest window tint area & it blends in with the mirror....Not sure what difference the tint really makes when the sun's doing it's thing.....

This is the results via a BBK Post article/study.....Based on the numbers presented, this is how it breaks down....
It's pretty clear on advantages.....
Mods, if not permitted please remove as I understand there are sources you cannot use....
Just trying to clear some of the murky waters we're swimming in.....

We got this one from Lazada & found it very good....
Has multiple functions with absolute clarity....
Comes with a rear camera & all needed wiring....
I followed a recommendation off a post in Thai Visa & it's performed well....
I park where the sun hits the windshield during the hot part of the day.... It's dropped down maybe 6 times in 2 years..... It's built with quality materials & still looks brand new....
The Lazada shop is Diamond Home....
Hopefully you can identify off the screenshots, if you want to consider this one....

the visa problem you were referring to will be back to normal in maybe 2 years im guessing, if you're still alive by then that's great, if not you don't have to worry about the visa anymore, on other note vaccine is not a cure and yes you can still catch covid but i won't be on an ventilator but i can definitely give it to you.
Yep - the odds are way against recovery at that stage.....

73 / 195 / 98k reasonable shape = bike + home gym......Took first Pfizer jab.... Literally zero side affects other than a slightly sore shoulder.....No pre jab prep other than drank some water....We stopped to eat on the way home....
Kept waiting for body aches or other side affects = none.....
If nothing else I had body mass to help.....

If you wish to die of this disease and are so misled that you call this life-saving vaccine a poison - please do us all a favour and stay away
I have some friends in Florida....They are very wealthy by anybody's standards.....They just lost a daughter in law from Covid = took less than 2 weeks....They have the reserves to buy anything - and - she's gone ....
The family investigated privately, trying to learn (prior, they were in the wait it out camp)....What they learned through private inquiry - {versus media} - is 97% of all Covid hospitalizations & fatalities were unvaccinated.....
Draw your own conclusions....
Now is not the time to be in a hospital, for any reason with the Covid protocols currently in place....

That seems to be the flaw of inkjet printers here if not used frequently....I had an HP that was impossible to keep up with to keep it serviceable.....
I finally got a tank style Epson printer and it has given us 5 years of good service.....
There is a place on the 108, 300-500 meters south of the HD market on the southbound side.... It's next to a building that has large cartoon characters (Minnie Mouse?) made of cement outside....Park near there & the building has 2 businesses & facing it, the place is the right side...
They replaced a power board for us at minimal cost.... I'm not sure of their English capabilities.....
There is no large signage on the building.....

Policy wise who knows....
I'm also an American, although it's not exactly en vogue at the moment....
I also had a natural inclination against a vaccine.....I also have an inclination against playing Russian roulette with my life.....
I'd thought about waiting it out, but what happens then? Protocols will be relaxed....Yahoo - 85% are now vaccinated = herd immunity takes over..... Progress....
That's all well and good; but how do I know when I'm walking around when I'm next to that virus loaded bullet? I don't, and can't = they might not even though they're carrying some form of the virus....Could be 1 person out of every 6 (like a revolver) - or an entire group cluster....
= I don't know until it's too late & I'm dying....
I decided being vaccinated & having the chance of being sick versus bring dead was worth it....
-----------------------------------------
Side notes:
I have 2 daughters, one in a university and one in school....How do I know who they are around? Do I keep my uni daughter away? She shops around her area.....
I've had pneumonia twice which also enters strongly into the equation.....
I've gotten the first Pfizer jab (once it became FDA approved)....My wife will too, when Pfizer is available for her....

Stale = possibly.....Or matured/ mellowed...
It's the middle of a pandemic with world wide lock downs....No air traffic bringing new recuits....
The at riskers either can't get here to flit in and out, have died off from boredom - or their bad habits, the party palaces are shuttered, or they've settled down....
Novels, PI women, jabs, & general dissatisfaction are the latest hot topics....
Possibly the gardening & landscaping forums are booming away....
Yeah, it's mellowed out....

I just pay DTAC off my BKK bank app....All that's required is my phone number & it goes in as a direct credit/payment....
It's instant, not even enough time to log out of the bank app before the payment is made & acknowledgment received....
I have no idea why you are even messing around in the DTAC app/website.....

I selected the 5-10 button but it didn't register.....
Basically, with about 200 on the shelf I'm rereading some...I really should catalog them in a better effort to keep from duplicate copies....It's a cringe worthy moment when you discover you've already read the book you've just purchased....
My wife also has around 200 on her shelves....
Admittedly, we're not reading as much as in years past....
If one daughter has money in her pocket she'll head straight for the book vendor....

If I knew it was directed to me I'd just smile, nod, with a Howdy & keep movin' on at 2 meters or more....
I wouldn't be unfriendly, but I wouldn't be engaging either....
