Interesting question.....
Of course I could live alone very well.....Everything needed is on available here (CM).....
But, I also have a car & RV back in the states..... I'd probably go RV through a few states for awhile & touch base with friends & family, country wide ... Then decide what, where, when, and why.....
Meeting people has never been a problem.....Maybe just RV around and get a Bangkeaw puppy to train.....

If we are remembering 1st cars - this (file pic) was the first car I went out & bought by/for myself....
I rebarreled the engine & installed whatever performance parts were available....It ran strong (trans = weak - sucked), & did pretty well cruising with the AH's.....
I narrowed it down between the TR3B & a 1954 Corvette....But, the 'Vette's turned into swimming pools in the rain, so I went with the TR.....
As a matter of fact, this might even be my old one, noting the CA plates.....Same color....

You talk American stuff I always wanted a Cobra.
Can't fault that....I do have a friend that has 2 Ford GT's & an Avanti in his garage.... I'd settle for a GT....
Have to be limber & medium built to fit the Cobra - especially the aluminum bodied ones - or oops - hand sized dent ....

Well ..... None of the above - US market....But in those same years had an 1- 85 RX7 which was a very fun car to just get in & drive... 2- An 89 Dodge Shelby Daytona 3- 85 Dodge/Mits Montero/Raider SWB 4x4 that I tricked out the 2.6 & it was quick....Had these at the same time....
Unfortunately - my wife totaled the RX7 - then she waited a few years & then totaled the Shelby....I really should have divorced her after the RX & before the Shelby....

Ask your local Mama and Papa store where the moonlight comes from. Or the family.
Apparently it comes from the moon.
Bless them.
I knew a lady from the Philippines that thought the moon in the US & the moon in the PI were 2 different moons....

I often run in to him shopping at Muang Mai market at 1:00 A.M.! He probably hardly ever sleeps he works so hard! Don't support this business.
Kudos : +1

Check with your vet.....
Most will board for 100B per night - or they might have a referral for you....
Cats are generally more difficult to board than dogs ....

I've been with nothing but Asian women for decades.... It's kind of a almond brown blur = love every minute of it.....It was a very gentle, soft, and beautiful Japanese gal that initially swayed me & I never went back.... Let's just say meeting her very conservative Japanese father didn't go very well.....
Thinking back about it now, the 3 preceding decades of (mostly) white women seem easier to recall/picture individually - however, there's a bunch that I'm sure I'm not recalling at all.....
Unless they are stunning, white women don't even turn my head anymore....When young (me), they were a budding challenge.....

I've used Fascino for the past year.....They offer this card for discounts & some are as high as 40%+.....There are several locations in CM....I use the one by Hang Dong market on 108.....
They will order on request as needed.....
There is a great pharmacy close to the iron bridge in a teak building....They carry about everything & the pharmacist is very knowledgeable.....It was the best I had found....
However....
Once I found Fascino it eliminated the need to go all the way into town from SPT.....

I just get sms queries = block list....
We have Line & it seems every other week somebody tags along but never further contact....
Blocking is an easy remedy.....
It's not crazy here like it was in the US.....I had a very long blocking list for unwanted solicitation calls.... Unfortunately, companies had unlimited numbers to fire away with....
It's a lot simpler here.....If not waiting for a delivery & it's not a number I've grouped in a category = it goes unanswered ...
The sms's have been on an uptick recently ....

Yeah - music as we appreciated is dead....Whether rock, love songs, ballads, or country; it's in decline or gone completely out of sight of the rear view mirror....
It's all club banging or rapping = which isn't music in my book....
I guess it goes with the great age of digital detachment & loss of any kind of people skills.....
I actually find solace in a lot of the Thai music, dancers, and entertainers that my family watches/listens to - it still has personality - over the absolute train wreck nightmare most western mainstream "music" has become....

Covid has stopped it now....
When I played in a sports league here I'd follow up the next day with a Thai massage 1-2 hours....
Then the day after get a 2 or 3 hour oil massage to soothe out all the left over kinks, joint, muscle soreness.....
It was always a good routine/remedy.... Occasionally, one more relaxing massage during the week if so inclined & nothing else to do.....

I took up intermittent fasting and bought a home gym to work out on = lost 18-20 kilos.....
Ride a bicycle a few klicks on a route every day while feeding, watering, curry combing & paying attention to a few nice/friendly & well behaved dogs in our Mubaan who's people seem to have moved away, leaving them behind.....It makes them (and me) happy....
At 6'4"/195cm & large framed, I wasn't pot bellied before, however, it feels much better with the weight off.... I'm around 95-98 kilos now.....
I eat about anything I want, so, it seems to be working + holding....

Don't forget there's no infrastructure here for campers & sleeping in a non A/C tin can isn't very comfortable - if even bearable.....

Our oblong table unextended sits 6 (12+ if extended)....We have found tablecloths that fit the 6 position table, but nothing longer.....
One option might be to double up....Another nicer possibilty is go to a material shop at your nearest large market & pick your material and have it cut then hemmed to your measurements.....
A market like the Worowat market in CM has several shops with 100s of bolts to choose from.....

I was gone from US for 2 yrs solid because of covid, when I returned late last year for a visit I was quite shocked to see tent cities all over. On ramps, off ramps, for fork sake.
Two years ago on our vacation to the US my wife spotted a tent city while rolling through Sacramento....
She said "look at all the campers"....I didn't correct her.....
We're looking toward an August return for 4-6 months.... I'm not sure what to expect - but, it can't have gotten better.....

Hi Anne.....
Welcome aboard....Expect the expected, the unexpected, & almost everything in-between.....
When a thread breaks down into bickering, it's time to kick it to the curb ...
Have fun with it....

Thunderous storms are great for beer drinking, love it. Rayong province has been getting some good rain and thunder (buddha talking)
Thanks for the memory.....
When I lived in the Sierras, storms used to roll through.....Rain, thunder/lightning, & snow storms......
I had a small extended out front porch with 4ft walls/open upper half..... Just enough room to keep it toasty while stoking up the Weber bbq with a couple of chairs and a couple of cold ones, cooking & watching while the fury of the storms raged around me creating great theatrics and an unmatched symphony.....
Loved it there - until the divorce swept it all away.....

FB Market place has furniture although not the same as seeing, touching, feeling.....We dropped by BT about 3 months ago = 90%+ closed + the furniture places that were open were overpriced... Going for the big kill due to low visitor count.....
The Teak wardrobes I saw there were double to three times the cost of what I bought over FBM.

We're in San PaTong....We have an open well + a small decorative, stilled water, rock pond with a seldom used fountain right by our bedroom bay window (as does our closest Mubaan neighbor)....
I've been telling the wife mosquito, mosquito, mosquito warnings....
Result? We don't have hardly any - don't know why....

You can pay various ways....You can make a bank transfer.... I've noticed that some items/individual sellers? Don't offer a COD option.....

Lazada has a few choices....I bought some to make removable slip in panels for when we karaoke......
The squares are about 1x1 ft.
I glued them to some of that plastic sign (all purpose) board cut to window sizes to fit between the screen & glass panels.....
