"Although the labels say that they are all the same size the americans are slightly smaller.
Do Scotsmen have bigger <deleted> than the Yanks?"
>>>>>---------------------->
No, she thoughtfully ordered you the Scottish sized briefs.....

We use a oven that can take full size sheet baking trays (baking & pizza) + use it to make toast every day... For us, this offers the most usefulness.....It has convection & rotisserie too, but we never use those....We had a toaster & never really used it....The waffle maker sees more action.....
I make bread, and we bake, so it's handy for all the various pan sizes and cake tins.....
It might be a good option to consider....

Does she have to make actual calls, or just tie into wifi ?

I like Polo by Ralph Lauren, but I don't use often or slather it heavily....Nothing worse than someone that reeks of cologne/after shave...
I brought a bottle over with me and went to use it = empty....
It seems my wife likes likes it because it makes her feel good thinking of me and used it all up...
She has Chanel fragrances - but appropriated mine....
So, at the moment - nada....

I once sought & bought a young double yellow nape parrot,
they were rare, and supposed to be the 2nd best talking bird....I even drove from CA into Mexico where I bought it a big black, ornate cage.....
It talked, mimicked my sneeze & was fun for awhile....It also got possessive & jealous = started screeching (loud) if I left it alone....Was chattering when I was nearby.....
I was maybe 35 at the time....That parrot's life span was rated at 70+ years..... There was no way I was going to put up with that + cart it around for the rest of my life....
I sold it (should've made a 2 for 1 package deal with ex-wife = same traits).....
You've now discovered why the bird was set loose....If you don't want another 20+ years of the same, either find a way to train it, or gift it, or set it loose....
Would the Queen's botanical gardens take it? I know there are some menageries at some of them.....

I ordered COD last night & it accepted the order....

It takes an adventurous spirit & a inquiring minds to travel - it broadens and enriches the soul....
Some never had the opportunity.... Others never had the curiosity....Still others, (like my late great Dad) feel they had enough travel courtesy of their military service....Many more travel inside their own country & feel they've done it all....Coming from the US it's easy to understand - you could take many years and still not see all of it....
Others are stymied by work, family, routine, the money chase, beer, pubs, habits, laziness, isolation....
Some are happy as internet moderators ???? - proving to themselves daily they haven't seen it all yet....????
It takes many folks to make this world....
We are among the privileged, lucky ones....
But, I believe it was Emerson that said "no man is my equal, in that I may learn from them".....
The OP has delivered the truism within that statement.....
I think it's time for me to break out my RWE collection & reread it - good for the soul.....

When they sign up they are aware of multiple possibilities....War, killing, protection, and aggression are all on the table....In some cases it's as a volunteer, in other cases it's by draft.....
Either way I would stand with their decision.... If they are already in active service it's their duty to perform & fullfil their obligation ..... It's our job to wish well on them and hope/pray for the best....They can't raise their hands & say "may I be excused please".....
Unfortunately, that's the mechanics of war & being part of the military machine .....
I have relatives that served in the Thai military & basically they are many, many years behind the big, (modern) players....

The link didn't go through, but the concept looks interesting.....
Looks to be an uncomfortable entrance & exit with those low gull wing doors.....

They are simply out of touch & isolate themselves in the hyper critical world of cyber space....
Their people & actual analytical life skills never take on the layers of social interactions required to cope with each "step" of life.....
The are societally still infants, children no matter their age....They have no real life development or coping skills....
Coupled with the cyber "value" system & not a real world system of values they are empty vessels....
Parenting is a lost art as each generation gets progressively less strident....

Typically, maybe 1600 or later on weekends....We sing Karaoke a few hours on Saturday nights & put out a spread of snack foods, that's when I'll have a few.....
Sometimes, if making something enticing like homemade salsa with chips I'll like a Margarita or cocktail & just settle in to enjoy....
I'm not a beer enthusiast, so it's mostly mixed drinks.....
The wife will take a sip, but basically doesn't drink....Her bottle of Bombay lasts about 3 years.....Reserved for special occasions....

Yes - it's dangerous - at a higher speed & awareness factor....
600CC minimum preferably bigger & geared up.....
Probably better staying on the highways versus back road adventuring (where basic road/safety rules are largely overlooked).....
I owned and rode for many years from Harleys, to Ducati, & Goldwing = I don't ride here.....

Can do the nomad thing comfortably - or settle down or 1/2 - 1/2.....
Being married to a Thai, none of the other options appeal....Nor does the PI - even if single.....

That is terrible and what an awful place for her to be but your advice is equally terrible.
Tell her to take the pay cut and look for something else immediately. Life isn't fair and if if no other opportunities arise then she is lucky to be at least earning 11k. Returning home defeated and being fed by Dad won't help her other than help her become more dependent on others. Doubt this is what you or she desires. If she finds her way out of this predicament she will be a better person for it in the future. Why not help her with rent or anything else if she runs out of cash while she is working and looking?
Sound advice....

Would love if you could cite where this can be found....It sounds fanciful to be honest, but I am happy to be proved incorrect...
Check the LBC rates....They are the go to PI/US.....Although that doesn't have anything to do with the topic.....

No - but if she/we are going from one place to another in the same vicinity she just leaves it in place....
Other than that, no, not when driving point A to point B....I never see her leave the driveway with a mask....

Why go cheap charlie on engine oil ?
A dead engine will cost a shed load more than the few extra sheckles for the top shelf oil.
Depends on manufacturer & current recommendations.....
A synthetic oil used in a mineral oil application can cause leakage.....
A semi synth might not.....

Thai bank fees?
in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Posted
I have Bangkok Bank & SCB....
BB statements are clean = just the listed transactions with zip for additional fees....
SCB has fees out the wazoo.... There's always some bank processing fees listed....
Admittedly, I didn't "shop" accounts when I signed on....Meaning one might have given me a beneficial account, while the other might have signed me on to the most adventitious type of account for their own bank/purposes....
