  1. BEV + PHEV had a 18% market share for the entire year in 2023 and then @Bandersnatch kindly informs us that sales had collapscollapsed to 14.8% in July 2024. Down is the way forward for EVs.
  2. The subsidies are not only for imported EVs, but also for domestic produced EVs, right?
  3. In 2023 EV+HPEV had a 18% (almost 1:5) market share, but then I July 2024 it dropped to 1:7 according to the cherry 🍒 farmer. I love it when you guys provide solid data for the failure of EVs. Thanks 😊.
  4. 1:7, even when including PHEV is solid proof that the EV fantasy is over. In 2023 it was almost 1:5, so EV's market share globally is falling 😊 😃 😀 😄.

  6. Odd are stacked against you, but time will tell. I doubt we will even see 3 months in a row with 20% EV market share.
  7. When is EV3.5 due to expire and it that the end of freebies or is there an EV4.0 in the shadows?
  8. Thailand's 🇹🇭 30/30 plan/dream is to have 30% EV sales by 2030. Both Vinny and myself thinks that will never happen. As long as the EV price war rages on I think we will see numbers creeping up towards 20%, but the moment reality sets in and the subsidy sweet pot dries up and EV manufacturers run out of price bullets, sales will fall again. 50%, not Chinaman's chance in hell.
  9. Thanks @✌️ , I am moved by your kind words 😊. You are not missing anything, EV sales, as your charts indicate, have been and are still growing. The real question is, if it will continue so or are reaching a plateau. You do raise an important point. We are in the middle of a war, not ur war, nor Ukraine, but the all out EV price war. At the moment EV prices are falling, if not crashing, but how long will it last? Will subsidies continue or is the Thai government tired of paying the bills. Is EV3.5 still in effect and will subsidies continue in 2025?
  10. In other words, sales are high in countries with high subsidies and EVs are falling flat on their face and faling when they have to compete on a level playing field with ICE.
  11. That is old school. The future is hybrid baby.
  12. May I present the solution to your Wyoming problem, the ultra long range EV. Made for guys that go the extra mile. An844yKXermNrLzZJzCNRrhZUgkO8PuhEJXWom5l5bJr8myDmhOUmCIoYpNqUcLiJGn-JLP2sWq-0uZSO_XdapgT.mp4
  13. QC is not Quality Control, which for obvious reason would have been an oxymoron anyway. QC is a plate to travel out of Thailand like Burma 🇲🇲, Laos 🇱🇦, Cambodia 🇰🇭 and China 🇨🇳. Malaysia is the exception, where a sticker is allowed for travel time up to 60 days.
  14. The 1,000 lbs gorilla 🐒 🙈 🙊 🐵 is back in the game after 5 skinny months.
  15. Trump was right after all!!!
  16. He should accept another debate and announce in his opening speech that he is not running.
  17. Trump chickened out...

  19. Yes, I understand that. I was merely pointing out the tremendous electromagnetic damage ownership of two EVs can cause. It appears to complete wipe out the ability to do percentage calculus and repeated ownership strongly stimulate gloating, except for ants, they get friendly over time. Bike and Fortuner ownership also have a healing and normalize effect.
  20. You are on top of things Pib and you are most likely right. Will be interesting when large numbers of EVs start turning 7 years old. As you previously pointed out, the Ciaz discount became the new normal price and as Suzuki is bowing out of Thailand they can still find a few buyers.
  21. You spelled whining wrong 😁 😂
  22. Second place is close and he should be proud of it.
  23. At this point Trump is not even a potential candidate anymore. His campaign is just window dressing 👗 and symbolic going forward. My girl Kamala is the next president.
  24. Trump is just showing respect to the 47th president of US of A.
