  1. Holy baby Jesus. Someone with actual car knowledge entered the stage. Welcome Ronny, please stick around. With a bit of luck we can dilute the EV propaganda and their eternal fear of fires πŸ”₯ πŸ‘Œ πŸ˜‰.
  2. Nakhon Sawan, it is getting closer.
  3. Not raise a building, not even a city block, but the entire greater Bangkok, all 1,500 km2. Inject water πŸ’§ into a suitable aquifer 2-3,000 m below Bangkok. Total cost: $15 billion
  4. Or the third option, raise Bangkok and dredge out rivers and channels.
  5. This is Sukhothai today, Bangkok will be gone next week πŸ˜€ πŸ˜„ 😁. FDownloader.Net_An_ES1tLexdpznB-S23xn4w0UXYZqtbKKpFDZmc8aAq0BRjegSU1bmQg00u0DF4jZZL7YSehcPfnkQft0ng2MYM_720p_(HD).mp4
  6. A hybrid in Australia πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί is now relevant to EVs in Thailand....got it! Anyway, hybrids are taxed lower in Thailand than ICE cars, so you get more and pay less.
  7. A Dolphin takes a dip to woke up in the morning. FDownloader.Net_An_GB1sG_KlYqqLq5hCz_su51CMbdXKBiSb3kQyFUCX3DeKv-SKxOuMSKlBu5xSsy0v9q2KY-SpkTW6pLGURKyE_720p_(HD).mp4
  8. You don't see old cars????
  9. But, but, but according to the Cherry πŸ’ farmer a plug-in hybrid is an EV, at least for propaganda purpose in China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³. So EV burn πŸ”₯ 130x that of an EV??? Must be pretty flammable
  10. In the trunk? You are a bit morbid this early, before the wine 🍷 kicks in.
  11. By lots, you mean 0.45%, right?
  12. FDownloader.Net_An9uYW_u4asBxjCrd7z79j5uk2LDI6f01RQ5raT2kk4RICkKZYuG3u9JgaoqNa1ywZKCbBacNhqBdbX-_d3svlK5_720p_(HD).mp4
  13. You are both right. You are talking depreciation and Vinny is calculating lost value. Although they are not the same, most people will generally put a big fat equal between the two. Inflation also play a factor, we just got so used to the last 10 years of low interest rate and near zero inflation.
  14. Why unfortunately?? You dodged a bullet, paying 1.1 million for a car that clearly is not even worth 600k.
  15. Your mind works in mysterious ways. Why multiply by 10, then by 2? Why not just multiply by 20?
  16. Of course not, you drive a Dodge Ram with a real engine. The MG owner will be a latte kind of "guy".
  17. That is very clever and reasonable wording. Could be similar for MG and the market value for a 10 years old MG is probably measured in a few cafe lattes β˜•οΈ β˜•οΈ.
  18. Finally a serious answer and some good ground work at squeezing information out of MG. We will let this black ⚫️ hole rest for now, but please keep us posted if you obtain some documentation in writing.
  19. Adequate is EV code for fact avoidance.
  20. The million miles Tesla S did have a few pitstops. rear motor unit on this one has been replaced a whopping 13 times (an average of 84,285 miles per motor including the current one, though we hope reliability has improved in recent years). The battery pack has fared much better, only being replaced three times so far, for an average of around 300,000 miles per pack, which seems pretty solid. https://www.motortrend.com/news/heres-a-million-mile-tesla-model-s-owners-advice-for-ev-reliability/
  21. Since all our "experts" are like deers 🦌 in headlights each time the MG lifetime warranty is mentioned, I will chip in. Apparently, not even MG knows the answer to the SOH question πŸ™„. The new guarantee is currently only available in Thailand and relates to four models – the MG4, MG Cyberster, and MG MAXUS 7 and 9. There’s no statement about the minimum capacity required below which replacement is mandated, and MG hasn’t said when or if the warranty will be rolled out into other regions.
  22. SOH is how much of the original charging capacity the battery retains after xyz cycles. @Pib is the expert. I sincerely doubt it is as long as the car exist. No Battery will last 30, 40, 50 years and surely MG is well aware of this. The devil 😈 is in the details. Show us the legal term and conditions, not an unreliable news article.
  23. Thanks, but that link has been shared before. Lots of sales bravado and very thin on terms and conditions. They go from Life-time warranty to full-fledged warranty and finish of with extended Lifetime Warranty. How many years is lifetime? At what SOH? Milage limitations? With our EV gurus earth shattering high IQ, surely you can answer a few simple questions.....right?
