Japanese, Korean and European car makers have over time build a brand identity around reliability. It is just in the Chinese DNA to hide and deny, rather than investigate and improve. Time will tell if the tears 😢 we are seeing now will evaporate over time and the new manufacturers get their business in order. The jury is still out.

The 8 years warranty is turning out to be a hollow promise and the Thais are slowly waking up from the EV propaganda slumber. While it is understandable insurance companies are assessing their cost/risk exposure, why are manufacturers not honoring their 8 years warranty claim? Even more so, why aren't manufacturers being held accountable?

To be fair some of the newer brands in the Thai market are behind on after sale services. You can be in for a world of pain if your vehicle have a major failure. Tools and skills are not in place.....yet.
