Yes, buy a fair size water tank compared to how many people living in the house, a small 500 liter tank with a floating valve might be enough and that might cost in the area of 6,000 baht; a pressure pump for water-pressure in the house, which can be a fairly small pump for around 4,000-6,000 baht if you are only 2-3 people living in not more than 2 floors, have the pump installed so it can be easily exchanged as lifetime might be somewhere between 5 and 10 years; a small clear filter-house for a 5-10 micron filter to clean the water coming into the house, mounted after the pump, filters need to be changed weekly or fortnightly depending of the amount of dirt and alges, filters can be bought for less than 30 baht a piece from either DIY or Lazada; a pair of good quality plastic valves, so you can close water pressure when changing filter, they might cost about 400-500 baht each...???? The photo below shows the type of filter-house – the one shown is one I have on my water tank the attic with an UV-lamp, just shown for the type – it costs about 600-700 baht...

Your comment is in level with what I also think; i.e. if a worker is not having productivity or skills enough to be worth 600 baht per day, the worker will become unemployed.

Some Thai insurance companies gives a discount on the extended insurance – the one beyond the mandatory liability insurance – if the insurance policy is limited to named drivers. Perhaps the extended insurance don't cover if another person than the named driver is driving the car. I was offered that kind of discount that could include two names. but decided to pay little more for any driver, in case someone else than my girlfriend and me should drive my car.

No, if it's business property, she'll pay higher property tax. If her business is in a company limited, she can pay rent for room in the house to herself, but she need to declare that fas personal income tax. If that solution change the house-status from private home to business, the property tax will increase.

You can get 60 days extension of stay based on being married to a Thai; i.e. with a non-immigrant type-O visa you can get 90 + 60 days stay in Thailand, which covers 15-20 weeks. Thai driving licens is a must, when you stay – and of course drive – in Thailand for more than three month. You need an international driving permit and your national driving license to obtain a Thai driving license; there are no benefits of being married to a Thai.
