No problem. I have done this several times with my Thai partner. Just make a plan of your trip as far as you can, places, dates etc in detail. It doesn't matter if you don't follow it when you arrive but helps you focus anyway. Then book the hotel's online but make sure they allow for free cancellation. Print off the bookings for your gf to show to immigration. Then after you arrive you can follow the trip you planned or part of it and cancel those bookings that you do not want to use. if you do cancel any then keep to within their deadlines for cancellation. The planning and booking need to be carefully thought through and dates and hotels listed when your gf applies for the Schengen. I never had a problem and actually usually stuck to the hotel bookings I made with few cancellations. Good luck. Btw, I plan a trip to Munich next year - how are you flying there? I fancy Qatar. If you are going to Austria, I highly recommend Salzburg and the Obersalzburg region nearby. Berchtesgarden and Hitler's Kehlsteinhaus in Bavaria are a must, as well as Neuschwanstein Castle! They are all just a quick trip across the German border.

I don't eat Thai food very often, preferring my own constructed meals but I think it is a good cuisine with a good balance of meat, veg and fresh ingredients. I completely disagree that Indian and many others are better. Indian food is often overcooked curries with not much fresh veg and too much meat in a similar way to British and German. Western food is often highly processed, although Italian is good. You should avoid bias by substituting 'preferred' for 'good'. Good can mean many things.

One is for savings (capital) and one is for income (pension, interest auto transferred from your other account when it is earned). I have gone from confusion, through disgust (I had visions of one crawling up my shorts as I tootled along on my bike) to final enlightenment. Still can't figure why they like my bike cover so much as to inhabit and scrape at it, but that's slugs for you, hey?

I thought of leeches but no idea why they like my rain cover and why so abundant in a condo garden. Horrible thought. Just searched them and yes they must be leeches ughhhh!

The rains seem to have caused my black motorcycle cover to be inhabited by what look like slimy slugs of some kind. They don't seem to bother other motorcycles either with or without a cover but there are always 2-3 on mine when I pick up the bike (I don't use it much). They seem to be eating away at the surface plastic as shown by white patches and they leave a kind of brown crispy residue probably faeces around. They are easily brushed off but seem to return. They don't move much or very slowly. They are flat, brownish grey and moist. I looked up on Google Lens but it comes up with only Mantis religious ootheca, but those would be rather static and my things seem to have some motion like curling when disturbed. See pic for any ideas. They are about 5 or 6 cm long.

Apparently yes. That's why local Thai wine is so lousy. The local winemakers cannot reduce the price to sell volume and make enough profit to develop the local wine industry. They have been lobbying the govt to make them a special case for years but the govt is unsympathetic. It's a great shame coz Thailand could otherwise become a good wine producer.

Condo owners are not allowed to rent for less than a month with AirBNB or otherwise. I have used AirBNB in Europe and USA with few problems and will continue to use them. The only drawback is that owners are allowed to cancel at any time, which affected me badly once. You need to check the room reviews as to any problems likely to crop up and read their terms and conditions, particularly regarding cancellations

There are such things as translators, you know? You can even translate from documents and photos with Google Lens.
