Wow, this government must be REALLY desperate. Taxes, taxes and even more taxes. Are they really that close to bankruptcy? Sure seems like it. Yet Prayut and Prawit both insist that submarines are necessary.
So way to go Prayut, price the cost of having fun in Thailand so high that the tourists will stay away, and many expats will start looking elsewhere. Seems like the recipie for a downward spiral to me.

So no alarms on the pumps to indicate a malfunction? Retorical question. Never mind.

Ah, I think I am starting to understand the whole 'assassination plot' thing. So I guess in the near future we will see another purge take place to rid the junta of all serious opposition. No doubt lese majeste charges will be thrown in to shut everyone up, including the media, and to justify no bail.

Only ONE? They aren't even trying, Thailand is overrun by these dregs of Russian society.
-
It seems like this country, thanks to the likes of the junta and these 'police', is becoming more pathetic and desperate with each passing day.
-
Why do I get the feeling that this government is almost completely broke?

Just practicing for Songkran.

No topless or nude dancing is a sure way to kill the tourist trade. If no show, why even bother going? There are cheaper places to drink and to meet girls too.

They are talking about outfits like Lazada and similar others who
once you order an item they don't have in stock locally, order it
from abroad for you with a hefty premium on top....
Wrong. I have ordered from Lazada items that shipped from abroad. Usually free shipping and NO EXTRA fees added. I paid only the price as stated on the Lazada website. Any customs duty/fees already covered by Lazada in the price I paid. All items arrived at my door, no fuss, no muss.

Does either of them have a cell phone? Hard to imagine a Thai woman without a phone. Don't Thais also have to register their SIM cards? So start tracking the location of their SIMs. Or is there a fatal flaw in all this SIM card registration nonsense?

Which was: Thou shalt NOT tell the truth about Thailand.

No one in this country, including Prayut et al, understand Thailand 4.0. The reason being that it really does not mean anything. It is just a buzz word created to make people think the junta are actually doing something.
On top of which the junta are actually hostile to anything digital. Maybe they really ment Thailand 0.4.

Another numnut off the road.

If they are so certain that there are others in this 'gang', then it would seem they sprung their trap too soon. With these arrests and the ensuant publicity, any other gang members will scarper.

Guess I can scratch visiting any national park off my list. 400 baht, seriously? Why are foreigners squeezed at every opportunity for money, and now officially so? The bloom has certainly gone off this rose.

"The charming traditions of Thailand"?
To what 'charming traditions' are they refering? Pattaya lost any charming traditions it might have had decades ago. The rest of Thailand has been losing it's charm at an alarming rate. The rush to monetize EVERYTHING has seen to that.

Ohhhh, that is going to throw a spanner into the works.

Freedoms, within limits. I think that would constitute an Oxymoron.

Journalistic integrity and openness is in free fall at the moment.
Not just journalism, the entire country is in free fall. I think it is going to be a very hard landing when it does occur.

And it is so effective in dealing with all the problems at that temple, right?
Do you really think it would be more effective in the south?

As a Canadian he will have Provincial Health Care. Not sure what their coverage would be when traveling internationally though. The family should contact their provincial health care system for what to do.

Yes, it seems to be working so well at that flying saucer temple.
Most Thais are not capable of critical thinking, so this 'opinion' poll is meaningless.
Oh, what reforms?

OMG, Article 44? And that worked so well at that flying saucer temple, right?
