  1. You got that wrong. Hamas killed about 1,000 people on that day. Israel killed over 45,000 people after that day including over 17,000 children. To quote you, that was "the most brutal, sadistic, barbaric, and savage act of terrorism in modern history".
  2. What Hamas did on the 7th October 2023 was obviously wrong. And what Israel did for decades before that date was also often wrong. Does one wrong make another wrong right? No. The whole mess exists because Palestinians were removed from their land to establish Israel. Whoever had that idea and thought they will all live happily ever after was stupid or delusional. A fights B. B fights back. And then A fights back, and then B again. But somehow when A fights then some people thing that is ok. But when B fights that is not ok. I think both should stop fighting. And if A does not stop, then don't be surprised that B also doesn't stop.
  3. So it seems for Palestinians to say “From the river to the sea” is a crime. If Trump says it in slightly different words, then it's ok?
  4. Read and learn: https://www.perplexity.ai/search/is-the-following-correct-israe-xwhQqEGjR0yNoNw11hWa_w#0 Yes, the statement "Israel is occupying Palestinian land" is correct. Here's a breakdown: * **Historical Context:** Israel has occupied the Palestinian territories, which include the West Bank (including East Jerusalem) and the Gaza Strip, since the Six-Day War in 1967[1][6][7]. These territories were previously under the control of Egypt and Jordan[1][7]. * **International Views:** The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the UN General Assembly, and the UN Security Council all consider Israel to be the occupying power in these territories[1]. The ICJ has stated that Israel's occupation is illegal and that Israel must end its presence "as rapidly as possible"[1][5]. * **Gaza Strip:** While Israel withdrew its forces from the Gaza Strip in 2005, it still maintains control over the territory's borders, airspace, and territorial waters[1][7]. The UN and various human rights organizations continue to consider Israel as the occupying power[1]. * **"Disputed Territories"**: While successive Israeli governments have referred to the West Bank as "disputed territories," the international community largely considers them occupied[1]. * **Settlements:** Israel has been constructing and expanding settlements on occupied Palestinian land, which is a violation of international law and a driving force behind human rights violations[3]. In July 2024, the ICJ issued an advisory opinion stating that Israel's continued presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) is unlawful, and that Israel must end its presence as quickly as possible and cease all settlement activities[5]. The UN General Assembly has also adopted a resolution demanding that Israel end its occupation within 12 months[5]. 5. I think the important part is have a story ready for the unlikely case that someone checks you. If you have a work permit for A and not for B then officially only work for A, never for B. If you are a shareholder for B then I guess you should be allowed to check the accounting details from B. Just make sure you have them somewhere nearby in case someone ask you what you are doing.
  6. Yes, you can walk or take a motorcycle, those are the options which make sense. Using a car in that area is no fun. I think anywhere in Bangkok it depends a lot on your personal taste, how much money you are willing to pay, if you like lots of international restaurants and shopping centers with English speaking employees, etc. If you like that area, then live there. If you are for 6 months or more in Bangkok, then you have enough time to explore also other areas and find out what you like and don't like. Bangkok Pat has many videos about different areas in Bangkok. Maybe watch some of them.
  7. The destruction or relocation of Isreal and Israelis is obviously no viable solution. And the killing or relocation of Palestinian people is also not a viable solution. But why do Trump and some others pretend one of them is a solution and the other is a crime?
  8. Israel is occupying Palestinian land - not the other way around.
  9. I watch his videos only from time to time because I don't care much about history or far away parts of Bangkok. But if I want to know details, then his videos contain a lot of them.
  10. "Activists demand Parliament clean house on old prostitution law" Who cares about old prostitutes. How about the young prostitutes? 😉
  11. Who cares? What counts is what do the local authorities do or not do? Who do you think will check out what you do and where you do it? As far as I know you can have two jobs in one work permit. But like you said yourself, you are not employed by that 2nd company. Just don't think too much...
  12. Just in general, what about motorcycles where people are not able to pay the monthly leasing/finance anymore? I guess those will be returned and sold again. And probably for a much better price than new. I don't know if they would be on sale in the bike shops or the finance company or who handles this.
  13. How many of them like Israel and Israelis?
  14. No doubt. The problem is that over 70 million Americans "thought" it is a good idea to have a criminal with mental health problems as their president.
  15. You are right. That is no solution. Like what Trump suggested is no solution. But for whatever reason some people think forcefully relocating Palestinians is a solution. I guess they could call it "Endlösung". In theory a two state solution would be the answer. That is the answer since decades. But the USA and Israel obviously don't want that.
  16. And I guess there wouldn't be any Hamas without Israel.
  17. If smoking is soooo bad then bad the sales of cigarettes and similar products. And arrest everybody who smokes. Why does this not happen? Because everybody knows that there are millions of smokers out there who can't just decide this morning that they just stop. Be realistic! Let those smokers smoke. Make it convenient for them to do that. Win/win!
  18. Really? Did you ask any Palestinian about that? Or is that an idea from someone far away with the finger on the map? How about an article which points out all the illegal activities from Israel and the USA over the last decades? Like why do Palestinians live in rubble? Who created the rubble? There wouldn't be any rubble without Israel and the USA.
  19. So, will someone interview them after they claim they read the book to find out if the inmate actually read it? Or is it good enough to rent a book for a week?
  20. Lots of holiday homes for Americans on the new Rivera...
  21. I understand that some people support some politics of Trump. But who told you that you have to support all of his politics. The current suggestions are just f@##ing mad! And this is obvious to everybody who is watching. Do you really think Trump is playing some 10 dimensional chess only Trump understands? There is an easier explanation. He is mad! You don't have to support all actions from a mad person even if you think some of his actions make sense.
  22. But is Trump actually invading all those countries. Or does he talk like that so that all the attention is on his madness? We, or at least the Americans, should look at what is happening withing their country. Checks and balances are removed. Anti-Trump competent people are replaced with Pro-Trump incompetent people. Musk can do whatever he wants. All that would be right now in the news if Trump would not have distracted them all with even more outrageous behavior.
  23. Is Trump really the problem? Is his current behavior a surprise? Did people expect to see a rational diplomat at work? NO! Trumps behavior is similar since years. Nobody is surprised that he is crazy and megalomaniac. And > 70,000,000 Americans voted for that guy. They wanted that Trump represents them and America. > 70 million idiots are responsible for having the biggest idiot in charge. The alternative was obviously not great. But does anybody think Kamala Harris would have left even 10% of the chaos in the first week like Trump did? It's time for the rest of the world to unite and oppose the idiot in charge. He can do a lot, but he won't win against the rest of the world together. It's time that people stand up and tell him to resign.
  24. This guy made over the years many videos about projectors. He explains the differences. I.e. if you only watch at night then you don't need a very bright projector, things like that. I suggest watch a couple of his videos and you will know a lot better what you want/need.
