Why don't you find out yourself? I started this thread to find out the best way for me in my situation. I am obviously no expert in this, otherwise I would not have started this thread. Feel free to start a new thread and make sure you mention your garden and no chicken.

I am sure that you are aware that must have is not the same as actually have in Thailand. And there are lots of pipes between the kitchen drain and the big down pipes. I don't see a reason to clog them if there are better ways to handle this.

That is one of the reasons to buy parts from authorized dealers. Obviously, it is impossible to guarantee that those authorized dealers sell fake things, but the chance that they do it is not very high. And obviously, if it is too cheap to be real, then probably it isn't real.

There are cases where people get convicted with too little evidence. And those cases are the reason that the death penalty is problematic. After someone was killed you can't just go back: Sorry, we made a mistake. But IMHO there are enough cases where there is more than enough evidence that certain people committed terrible crimes. The problem are not just the counterfeit auto parts, the problem are also the mechanics who would use such parts and who "think" all will be fine. Professionals all over the world only use oil and sensors and more of above from well-known brand names to make sure all works fine. Obviously, quality parts are more expensive, but mostly for a reason. If all mechanics would work like professionals, then there wouldn't be a marked for fake bad parts.

I have no idea how good they are. But considering that bad electric connection can be life threatening I wouldn't use anything cheap. As far as I see Thai electricians use what is cheapest. But maybe there are exceptions.

A few minutes after I wrote above, I received a SMS from UOB at 13:28. Now, 14:50, I just checked in the app. Statements exists up to July. Nothing yet for August. I can wait a day or two, no problem. But somehow, I think it would make sense that they send the SMS only after the statement is already available so that people who receive the SMS can open the app, see the statement details, and pay. But I guess that is just too complicated for those banking professionals...
