  1. Nice comment. I recently transferred 247,247 THB from my KT bank here to my Wise $ account. Cost 699 THB. Then feeless $ to $ account in Europe. So total cost 699 THB, $20, to buy and send $7,150. Not sure how much a SWIFT transfer would have been. Maybe same. And a 100k THB transfer from bank to Bitkub is feeless. It just sits in my wallet until I withdraw it or have a flutter on coin.
  2. It all depends on what you want to achieve. If drastically reducing your carb intake is a primary goal, none of your suggestions would help, except the eggs. It may seem counter intuitive to what is generally accepted as a "healthy" diet, but that's the way it is. Let's not argue about it. You can make your own totally acceptable choices depending on where you want to go with your diet.
  3. Lou, you're flogging a dead horse. Nobody's saying you can open an account using a Thai address. Thailand isn't on their list. This was pointed out days ago. If using a UK address is such anathema to you, then just leave it! Nobody's arguing with you...
  4. Bitkub. You can buy with THB from your bank account. Have to do full KYC.
  5. You can buy fresh coconut juice usually at a coconut stall in the market. Tepprasit, can.
  6. 9g of carbs minus 2.6g of dietary fibre gives approximately 6g of sugar, in 240g (a cup) of coconut water. Sure, too much for keto fanatics, but less than 1/3 of the 20g some consider allowable per day. coconut water nutrition https://g.co/kgs/XuTiY2
  7. No, I was pointing out that not residing in the UK does not necessarily mean you cannot get pension updates. "Cannot get the yearly increase in pension if not resident in uk ". Patently not true.
  8. I'm 73. I do keto, no bread, spuds, rice or pasta, sugar or swerteners, except erythritol. Only fruit, strawberries and star fruit. I eat a lot of cheese and avocados, leaf veg, leeks, mushrooms, eggs, fat meat. I find cooking with cheese helps when you need something to make you feel satisfied, as no potatoes etc. I think it's the umami. Been on keto over a year. Initially I lost 10kg over first 4 months, then my weight just bottomed out at between 81 and 84kg. I'm just over 6'. Someone once told me losing weight is 70% diet, 30% exercise. That formula seems to have worked for me. Controlling carbs is good all round philosophy, at least, for me.
  9. Try a fresh coconut
  10. Not true at all. Most of the EU, and the Philippines and a few other places get the increases. Check out the DWP website.
  11. Yes. It's going to be hard going negotiating any kind of territorial settlement.
  12. This has been rumoured for years but I don't think it's true. AFAIK it's not verifiable unless anyone has experienced HMRC using this info. Of course, in theory, you'd think it was true. But does anyone have any evidence?
  13. If you give a UK address, you can use a Thai number.
  14. It's true. You have to use a UK or some address from the list of countries they have. Thailand is not in it. Why isn't Thailand listed? Dunno. But can't see them checking you actually live there.
  15. I think we're seeing the start of the end game. Now it's down to negotiation. China's really turned the tables on the West. But it's not over. He's due to meet Zelensky. That WILL be interesting. NATO can contain Russian expansion, and vice versa. If everybody understands the lines now drawn, then so be it. But eastern Ukraine remains the obvious sticking point. With that sorted, maybe we can all stand down. But the damage done to Ukraine? Why was that necessary? That's the bit I don't get. I think that's worthy of a criminality charge by any account. There have to be reparations. Yes, put 300,000 troops on Russia's North West borders. Then we'll start talking.
  16. No, you might find you have to download the apk. You can Google for it. You'll probably get warnings about unsafe source or some such, but safe to ignore.
  17. Yes, it caught my eye I have to say. But I looked it up and found it seemed too good to be true. You can use your pensions payment and top that up to 65k THB with savings or whatever else you've got lying around. Is it really that simple?
  18. Erdogan is ok with the Finns. Shouldn't be long before they're in. Sweden just has to sort out it's disagreement with Erdogan over the Kurds.
  19. Assemble in the North West along soon to join Finland's 832 mile border with Russia, Estonia and Latvia. Defending even the threat of that would require a massive diversion of troops and armaments from eastern Ukraine. Could Russia defend 2 fronts? Seriously doubt it. The prisons must be nearly empty by now. Zelensky could push the fxxxxxx out. Curtains for the Jolly Waggoners.
  20. Or Citi card
  21. Pass that spliff man, you've obviously had a toke too many.
  22. I used to have a card, and as I recall you got points. But when I tried to cash them in the checkout lady laughed and said, you have to be a registered business in order to claim the points. So I never bothered again. But I shop a lot in Makro. It opens at 6am, is great value, and has a wide choice of produce. A whole lot better than lotut't.
