  1. Those fake names on Lazada are to fool the gullible into thinking they are buying the real thing. Heaps of phones with names like Sansung etc. You might find that a lot of the cheap electrical goods only give a 7 day warranty as well.
  2. The brave young men who fought and died in defence of the UK in both world wars would be turning in their graves.
  3. What about improving their own country first, instead of being a leech on the countries who have fought hard for their rights and standards?
  4. The government s elected by the people, you get what you deserve.
  5. I watched the doco "They shall not grow old" the other night, and wondered what were all these lives (more than a million) lost for? What happened to the British fighting spirit? They have just let themselves become doormats for these economical migrants. Your ancestors would be ashamed of you.
  6. Watching a Brit mini series from 2011 called "The Shadow Line", very good. Available PB.
  7. I've already apologized, be gracious enough to accept it.
  8. And there's also a 9 inch.
  9. Was there a choice of lengths?
  10. If I fell for the clickbait of false information I apologize for posting the info here. It's not beyond possibility that Centrelink would be asking aged pensioners to provide the info I listed, but if they haven't, mea culpa.
  11. It says All Age Pension recipients, no mention of 80 or older. Notifications have begun via MyGov, SMS, and postal mail, and the update is mandatory for all Age Pensioners by June 30, 2025.
  12. I already explained, I just grabbed the first site that had the info. There are plenty of others if you care to look, the info is the same. Don't get fixated. Starting June 5, 2025, Centrelink is introducing major updates to the Age Pension system in Australia. The new rules require all Age Pension recipients to submit updated personal, identity, and financial documents to remain eligible for continued payments. Failure to comply could result in suspension or cancellation of benefits. https://direct-project.org/new-centrelink-age-pension-rules-take-effect-june-5-dont-miss-the-mandatory-document-update/amp/
  13. The last letter I got from Centrelink re Proof of Life took 2 months to get to me, past the due date for me to return it. I have asked to be contacted via email but that's too technical for Centrelink.
  14. The same information is available from several sources, I just grabbed the first one I came across.
  15. Surely we are all supposed to get a letter advising us of these requirements?
  16. I sent my Proof of Life document through MyGov.au.
  17. I think they want more than that, like copy of passport, proof of where you live etc. I posted the link above.
  18. https://www.agacollege.org/new-age-pensioner-rules/#List_of_Required_Documents_for_Verification
  19. No, I didn't keep it. Do a search, new requirements for Aussie aged pensioners. I believe this is all being done to root out fraud.
  20. Just saw it online. I think C'link want to see some kind of lease or rental agreement to show where you're living. I don't know if they want Thai bank details, but they will want to see proof of income and assets.
  21. As from June 5th all aged pensioners willl have to submit proof of identity, bank statements showing income, proof of residency, TFN, and a couple of other requirements via the MyGov.au website
  22. I agree cloth isn't easy to find, probably because it absorbs sweat (which causes cloth to rot) and isn't easy to clean.
