  1. I moved here when I was 66, now 81. I completey burned my bridges in Oz, sold my house, car, everything, and now have transferred all my money to Thai bank accounts. I have been with the same Thai woman for 14 years and she will inherit everything when I go. No regrets.
  2. I have been here 14 years, never paid an agent, only paid the 1900 baht renewal fee, never had a problem either. If you meet the requirements it's a breeze. Nothing to do with being wealthy, because I'm not.
  3. Got pretty low scores on IMDB but I thought it was entertaining.
  4. I found Scrap to download on YTS. I thought No Hard Feeling was worth watching.
  5. Isn't that what I'm asking here?
  6. Pardon my ignorance, but how do they work exactly? I take it you need an induction hot plate?
  7. What's the difference, electric kettle or jug? I thought of the old style kettle that you just put over a gas jet, nothing to go wrong with them, as long as you have gas.
  8. What about One Eyed Jacks with Marlon Brando? Oldie but goodie.
  9. I see him as from the Easter Island school of acting.
  10. Where is Scrap available?
  11. So what are you actually whingeing about if you get approved every year? BTW, you never mentioned previously you didn't have the 800K. You can't, or won't comply with requirements so are forced to use an agent, who's fault is that?
  12. And swing it three time around your head?
  13. Boil water, pour over tea leaves in teapot?
  14. Sorry, what's the phone relevance?
  15. I had a Russel Hobbs kettle and a Sunbeam toaster in Australia, both still going strong without problems after 25 years.
  16. Discussing is not actually doing, and you could avoid the income requirement if you deposited the 400/800K, something you choose not to do, so pay the price.
  17. If you have "enough income" why resort to corruption, and what envelope is exactly being pushed?
  18. I've had several electric jugs over the years, lucky if they last 18 months, but they are cheap. Otto and Irmaflex are the two most common brands on Lazada, but they don't last. Anyone had better luck?
  19. Our dog had to have an op for hip dysplasia and the vet recommended Anitol to strengthen joints. I had a look on Lazada and the prices vary between 800 to 1600 baht for what appears to be exactly the same thing. Like a lot of products on Lazada there's obviously fake Anitol as well. Vets seem to have a huge mark-up on products, but is that the only way to guarantee a genuine product, or are they suss as well?
  20. He was talking dollars not Baht.
  21. Thanks, downloaded FX File Explorer and found and deleted the file there.
  22. Sucess! Thank you. Downloaded FX and found the file there. Now deleted.
  23. I think I will try your suggestion and download another file manager.
  24. That only applies to Audible, that's not the app I use.
  25. That's my point, the files don't show up on the PC.
