Having worked for the NHS in a Senior Management Role most nurse who are from agencies are very well qualified and experienced nurses unfortunately when they brought in to cover for short falls the full time nurses employed permanently by the hospital trust can be unhelpful my ex wife left the NHS she worked via nursing agencies as the salary was at least double to what she was earning eventually she found employment as a nurse practitioner heading up a large family clinic earning an extremely good salary

It takes a lot more than two years to train a nurse now I know why the government hospitals in Thailand have a low standard of care it’s up to families to take care of there loved ones the nurses do very basic services such as blood pressure, temperature I experienced this when my wife was an inpatient on at least two occasions I did the majority of the running around when I complained that my wife was in much pain the nurse said that my wife should have told them and they would of given her something for the pain

I thought his medical conditions were private that’s why the doctors treating him were unable to state what was wrong with him but now we have some clown spouting off who are we to believe the clown or the doctors who kept exceptionally quiet

There on Samui ,Phangan and Koh Tao renting a handful of properties off Thais then doubling the rent and I bet not one of them has got a work permit the Thai language schools are run off there feet !

I had a run in with one last week damaged my cars wing mirror jumped up little tosser who tried to do a quick runner but this 73 year old fella ( that’s me) wasn’t going to let him get away with it I escorted him to the ATM and once paid I urged him to go back to his home country !

For £1,500 you could come to Thailand have a bang or two get a license under the table and use it back home for at least a year if not longer . In the past year you see open corruption on FB and other social media advertising That car and bike licences without having to turn up to the transport office and yet nothing seems to be done about it !

Im one of those that believes the Thai baht has been manipulated for years and I still believe that I also believe that before the year is out Thailand will be on its knees in debt household debt is at its highest there is a lot of unemployment and regardless what TAT spew out on a daily basis tourism is suffering immensely in other words Thailand is about to go belly up however I doubt I will ever see the £ at the 74 baht level like it was back in 2005 if it hits 50 to the £ , I won’t complain !

The German guys lady friend should of told him don’t get in argument with a Thai especially a group of them I learnt that lesson 18 years ago when a Thai threatened to shoot me over a stupid altercation
