Time to move on I’ve been saying it for a number of years and although I have lived here for 18+ years my pensions which are several are taxed at source in the U.K. I have always favoured the Philippines where my OAP would be unfrozen giving me an extra £35 per week . The house I own here could be rented out long term as it’s on the beach or worse still I would just pull the shutters down and live between both countries

It’s okay asking these companies but what was there reply back to him dare I say maybe we will consider it in the future when there is a democratically elected government in place with zero military interference I can just see Ellen Musks big smirk on his face when the PM asked him for his billions !

crazykopite replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It pays to be a convicted criminal in Thailand only have to look at those now in government convicted drug smugglers and fraudsters you have to wonder what will be going through diplomatic bags as they are not allowed to be searched when visiting other countries -

Gordon Ramsay’s group set to open 14 restaurants in Thailand
crazykopite replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It’s aimed at the wealthy Thais not your average punters as they won’t be getting fish and chips for less that 500 baht that’s a days salary to most anyway his restaurants are well over priced and over hyped I would rather go get a Mc$hit Burger ! -
I feel for this lady I just lost my only son on 4 September and by the time his funeral takes place it will have been 5 weeks I don’t even know what he died off as I’m estranged from his mother and she is unwilling to give me any information regarding the cause of death he was 45 and in his later years he suffered with drink related issues I can only surmise that these issues contributed to his passing . Only to often do we hear of foreigners being found deceased outside apartment buildings I sometimes think the Thai police assume we all purposely end our lives I hope she will get the justice and answers she seeks ????????????️????????

Chinese tourism to Thailand lags despite lifted travel restrictions
crazykopite replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It’s okay to offer incentives but the Chinese economy is suffering ,people no longer have the funds and the cost of flights worldwide are no longer affordable -
When I moved here 18+ years ago the money I brought over was money I was prepared to lose and that still remains however I invested in property from day one and have more than quadrupled my original income and enjoy a very comfortable life style so it’s a case of swings and roundabouts I did the opposite to you and touch wood it will continue my Chinese neighbour keeps asking me if I want to sell my current property my answer I will give you first offer if I decide to !

These idiots must think we are fools ask the fugitive when he will be freed he already knows the answer to the question it was all agreed before he returned to Thailand meanwhile he lives a life of luxury in a private hospital suite in the Police hospital no doubt with a laptop and mobile phone and of course high quality food afforded only to billionaires

I presume this will commence from the new financial years 01/01/24 at least it gives us time to get income over before then that will keep me going for a years once they realise it’s a non starter and do a UTurn . My pensions are taxed at source in the U.K. if I was taxed over here it would be less that could be a good thing only time will tell on the other hand they might start losing the many nomads working in Thailands who will just up sticks and move on to a neighbouring country

Don’t get married just live together and if that is not allowed then wave goodbye and let’s be honest Thai Universities are of the standard of a high school in the Western World the majority of children from Thai elitest go to schools in the Western world . My own opinion would be to say thanks but no thanks there are many multi national ladies around the globe if that’s the type of woman you want
