  1. I have to chime in again on this topic as it eats away at me . Thai parents spend untold sums of money to help improve their child's life but for some reason dont care about their safetly.

There is a reason for a car seat for kids. It is impossible to hold onto a child while you are going 30 kilometers an hour and either are hit or hit another car. YOUR Child becomes a projectile .

Why in the name of god will you not restrain your child in the car. Nothing will change until a noted public figure looses a child to a car accedent because they wanted to be kind to the child by

holding and playing with the infant in the front or back seat. Stop and think about it Why is there a law that requires us to where a seat belt . So then why would you think that child does not need to be restrained.

People who think otherwise are morons Plain and simple

  2. Here is what is really sad I have always said to my sister in law that she needs to get a car seat to protect the kids But nope No Car Seat. Well last week they had a car accident with the kids and the younger one hit his head and go hurt

So you would think then that would get a car seat RIGHT ? Nope will not invest 6.000 baht to get a child restraint to protect her kids

    This is crazy

  3. Villa market is way over priced for veggies and fruits by as much as 30%. Home Fresh is about 20% less. Example Head of Iceburg Lettace. 110 Baht at Villa Market. At Homefresh the same head is 85.00 baht. And from a local street vender is is 40 baht for the same head of lettuce..

And believe it or not the vendor on the street still makes money. So on a lot of things Villa is way more expensive but you pay for the convenience.

  4. Everyone is missing the whole point. The value of a countries output is directly linked to many things including the value of their currency, productivity and so on . By not staggering hours for workers for lunch a great deal of potential output is is poored down the drain.

Its chain reaction . Someone wants to register a care but needs to take time off to do so because they are closed at lunch . So that individual is gone because of that and is not productive. Now lets say that person has a body shop but cannot be there at 1 pm. Another drives their car up for a repair and so on down the line . Its the butterfly effect.

So that one person who you cannot deal with for an hour translates into many many hours of lost productivity .

Thailand can be the force of Asia but fundamental changes must take place for that to happen. I don't think this well ever take place as Thais are not attuned to dramatic change

  5. I guess you have brain lock. A good many come for business reasons and stay like I did. My priority list as follows

Much Lower cost of living ( deciding factor)

    Climate

    Food

    Culture

    Medical

and last but not least Woman but it is way down on my list I think you are thinking with your little head and not your real brain

  6. All joking aside and set aside who made the suggestion It is a good one. Elect a body that will see this thing through for reform . Give it a mandate for a limited period of time that expires on such and such a date regardless of what it has or has not done.

This will serve the nation well and give some breathing room to both sides .

Think about it just don't reject it off offhandedly
