Drove to Central Festival the other day. Up until now I have seen the different "classes" of parking that are limited to certain users; VIP, Supercar, Big Bikes, Women only, Disabled. I see they now have two areas blocked off near the elevator at Top's end for new "classes" that I haven't seen before; Families, and Exclusive. Looks like my parking options are getting smaller as I don't qualify for one of the above. ????

AIS 005 or 003. You will have to check your providers website. You can also buy packages. eg. For dialing a UK number with the above AIS codes would be: 00344(0)xxxxxxxxxx You would drop the zero in brackets. Or with 005: 00544(0)xxxxxxxxxx

They look to be two completely different cuts of bacon. As for the second one, the term "burnt to a crisp" comes to mind. ????

KhunPer. We don't eat boiled bacon for breakfast. Grilled or fried same as you. A boiled ham is a different dish altogether. Often served with boiled potatoes, cabbage and carrots.

Hayward's Piccalilli for Cheddar for me.

I know the difference. ???? I often make Cottage Pie here as I find it difficult to find inexpensive lamb here.

There was a place that served good fish and chips (not British fish species) in the Kiwi Pub & Grill in a small soi off Sukhumvit Soi 8. The restaurant was called Snapper or New Zealand Snapper and has now moved to Sathorn I believe. https://bk.asia-city.com/restaurants/bangkok-restaurant-reviews/kai

Can't beat a well made Fish and Chips, a Sunday Roast or a Shepherd's Pie. I think even the French do something similar called Hachis Parmentier d'Agneau. Smoked Haddock Chowder on a cold day. Don't know where you are from, but every country has some foods that others won't like. Each to their own.

More COVID cases in Surat Thani?

The Durian cluster. Expect more spikes in infections. ???? -
I called our guy out several times because one room not getting cold. Two times "Topped up gas." said he. Third time I told him there must be a leak or something else wrong because never gets gold. So he tops up gas again, then tells me, " Condensor fan was running in wrong direction." He has been servicing this for three years and no problems before.

KhunPer. Do you know what is the Durian Cluster? Not seen that one before? There are many people selling Durian off the back of pick up trucks around the island at the moment. Would be good to know where to avoid. The GF is always buying it. ???? -
If you do, give some thought to which type you will plant. We have some growing, and I was quite looking forward to them, but GF told me they are for cooking, not eating.

The peak has passed, but you should still be able to see them for a few more nights. Look north east low in the sky.
-
Been possible to see them for a week or so, and will continue for a few days more. But you are correct that tonight is the night they peak. Sat out a few nights ago to watch and only saw one. A big one. Then realised that I could not see the Perseids from where I was as there is a big hill in the way.. I was looking in a different part of the sky. Might try again tonight if not tired.

How make Line video/audio call from phone to PC?
phetphet replied to david_je's topic in IT and Computers
Why not contact LINE support. They are probably the best ones to ask. Or go into Settings > Help Center > Send an enquiry on your phone app. HTH -
Could be anything from slipped disc (cervical) to shoulder injury or even a torn muscle. Best go see a doctor or orthopede.

People are desperate for money at the moment with everyone losing their jobs. Someone must have known about the old debt and thought they could try it on and get something out of it.

Loneliness can be a killer for people that can't handle being by themselves. And being stuck in a small studio staring at four walls can't be great for his mood. Even in these strange times with no tourists and everything shut, there are things to do. Even for a barfly. But it's up to the individual to either get out there and do something about it, or seek help. Staring at the bottom of a glass is not the answer. There must be a lot of expats in the same boat, and not just in Pattaya. All looking for friendship or a bit of company.
