  1. So you don't figure X or Tesla or Space-X have incorporated in the UK?
  2. You're forgetting all the Repubs who called out Trump, even before the election. The dozens who claimed to be voting instead for Kamala... They were revered by lefties. The difference is that the Dems are pissed off because Biden has just revealed them to be a bunch of lying liars who lie. It'll be years before voters believe any election year promises made by a Dem.
  3. If it wasn't for traitors like him, we'd still be fighting in Vietnam.
  4. Trump has every right to call out the blatant lying of his political foe. And, by extension, to call out the lies they told about actually securing the border. And handing out reparation money, for votes. And forgiving millions of student loans, for votes. And... And... And everything else they lied about to get votes. Promises they had no intention of keeping. On a scale of 1-10, Biden pardoning his kid barely rates a 3. But the fact that he repeatedly lied about it (and his connections to his kid's antics) should put him dead worst among the list of American presidents. Not to mention, unpopular with his own party that he just knifed in the back. It'll be years before voters believe a Democrat candidate.
  5. Trump is "getting off" because the charges were bogus and the prosecutions were only meant to keep him from being elected. They'll never stand up to the appeals process. And now that he has been elected, the purpose of the prosecutions has gone by the wayside. Hunter did it. And more.
  6. She needs to head down to the local seafood market and pick out a nice shark for dinner. I hope she heals up nicely and it's just a vacation story she can tell for the rest of her life.

    Bangkok parks

I wouldn't trust information from a website. They're often out of date. And I wouldn't flinch at paying a buck to go to a nice park. It keeps the crowds down if nothing else. And it's more likely they'll maintain and clean it. Though my normal go-to parks at QSNCC and Lumpini are very well kept and free. The one I always pay for is the Golden Mount Temple, for the view of the city. It's gone up to 100 baht, but still worth it when the top deck isn't under construction.
  8. Mel Brooks said it best (if not first)... It's good to be the king.
  9. That's when I generally went to work in the morning. Had to walk through Asoke's Soi Cowboy to get to the office. That was quite an eye opener. And since I generally woke up at 4:30 during the week, I'd usually be looking for a 7/11 coffee by 5:00 on weekends. It's a great time to be up and around and see the world's gears start turning for the day.
  10. It will be interesting to see if it stands with the wording that pardons him for any and all crimes, whether they've been exposed yet or not. I'd be surprised if that stands up to judicial scrutiny. Not that I claim any legal expertise, but it just sounds dodgy. I can't imagine that's what the framers of the Constitution intended.
  11. You apparently didn't read the Hur Report, nor the House Committee records on the Biden Crime Family investigation. He's got plenty to worry about, right after his protections as the sitting president end. As a practical matter, there was no way they could impeach him with a Dem majority in the senate. Once he's a private citizen the gloves can come off. Keep in mind, the Hur Report just recommended not pressing charges. That recommendation isn't binding on the next DOJ. You really ought to read the House reports if you want to know all they have on the Bidens. Not just Joe. And now that Hunter can't stand behind the 5th amendment protections, they can haul his butt in and depose him. But they need to do it after the blanket pardon, so he can't lie and get away with it.
  12. It certainly vindicates a lot of voters who chose Trump because they didn't believe the lefty lie that they'd actually do something about securing the border, and not throw it wide ass open again once the election was over. This reversal is going to be fodder for the Repubs (and conservatives) for years. Great job, Joe...
  13. He should have done it in January, 2021, before he was sitting across the negotiating table with Ukes and others who had 8x10 glossies and bank receipts that could put his kid away for decades. But that would have hurt his re-election chances. So he compromised national security (and world peace) in the name of politics.
  14. And if all you watch is CNN and MSDNC, you'd probably believe that. He lied. Again. No surprise there...
  15. Can't wait to hear from all the lefties who have shouted all through the lawfare that nobody should be above the law.
  16. Joe should be the one pardoning Hunter, just so Americans can be confident that he isn't sitting across the negotiating table with world leaders, many of them adversarial to US interests, who are sitting on evidence that could put his kid away for life. He should have done it in January, 2021. Maybe Putin wouldn't be in Donbass, and Hamas wouldn't have attacked, had Biden not been in a compromised condition. Of course, we'll never know... Once Biden's out of office, Trump has no national security reason to issue a pardon.
  17. You're missing the part about "The consensus among experts seems to be..." Misinformation and lies are being called out by "experts". But what if the "experts" are the ones lying? You know, the paid political hacks telling us Biden is fit as a fiddle, the 51 lying intelligence experts, and the paid "safe and effective" shills.
  18. Have they updated their payment methods? When I worked across the street in Exchange Tower, we'd head over occasionally. First, we had to queue up to swap cash for a one-day payment card, use the card to buy the food, then queue up again to refund the excess funds on the card. I'd have preferred a stored value card that was good for more than just the same day. Queuing twice in itself cut in on an hour long lunch break. And as others have stated, finding a table to sit was a PITA during the lunch rush. Most groups had someone nail down a table while one of them was getting the food. Best time to go was outside of the lunch crush. That said, a huge variety of some pretty good food at a good price. Some of the choices weren't appealing, but there was plenty of variety, and a lot of the dishes were great.
  19. If they have Men's rooms, Women's rooms and Wheelchair Accessible rooms with one seat that they designate as "gender neutral", I don't see a problem. I can't see justifying the expense of having 2 separate single seaters.
  20. To be real pedantic, the aircraft failed to start. Does that mean the engine didn't start, or that the engine threw off error codes so they didn't start the flight? Hard to tell, since they flew the plane to Bangkok for repairs... That's always a challenge when reading articles written in the Thenglish, with no technical detail.
  21. In California, he'll get 10 years for having the AR and another year on probation for threatening to kill Trump.
  22. I just hope that blaze doesn't emanate from thermonuclear explosions.
  23. Failed? If you read their reports, they have enough evidence to put Biden away for decades. They just can't indict a sitting president without first impeaching him, which is a political process. It would never happen with a Dem majority in the Senate. Once Joe becomes a private citizen, they can go after him with no holds barred.
  24. Understood. Tough to unsee that. Honest question... Anyone... Can she sing? My generation had Mama Cass Elliot, who had similar weight issues (corrected for weight inflation- I don't think she went over 300# but nobody did back then), but she had a hell of a voice. Still some of the catchiest tunes. Her "Dream a Little Dream" is on my favorites list, 50+ years later.
