Personally i would be very cautious about the M-bike brand, one of my Thai family members got an M-Bike fly 125 ( Honda Wave lookalike) and in the past 2 years i saw this bike slowly falling apart, and this uncle is one of the few Thai guys i know who really takes care about his bike, only the engine is still going strong.

When i would be in the market for a low budget dirtbike i think the Lifan Cross 200 is a better choice, there's a thread on TV with a lot of satisfied owners.When you want to go for M-bike i should wait untill there are some independent reports on it, but hey... somebody gotta be the guinee pig. I never hear of a Mbike Fly 125, I know about a Pbike Fly 125 so maybe you get the name wrong? Also there's a scooter called the Fly 125 but that is made by Vespa (unlikely that falls apart in 2 years).

Pbike was a distributor of Ryuka/Zongshen, which in the early days did exactly the same thing as Mbike, selling motorcycles under its own brand name (Pbike), currently the website of Pbike (http://www.pbike.net) is not working so maybe they are gone....

I bought a 2500mAh battery off Ebay (same size as original 1650mAh) and get about 2 days normal use. I also use Juice Defender and Profiler to switch off radios overnight when I sleep. The original 1650mAh battery usually lasts a day. I do a fair bit of 3G, wifi and GPS stuff as well so cannot complain.

To sit there in silence and say nothing to no one whilst she still had a chance is a question that only she could answer but another obvious question would be why wasn't she more fearful of the packages splitting open in her stomach which would have killled her. Surely this would of been her most paramount concern as then she would never see the faces of her loved ones again.

I would also add that if she hoped that she would just get through it then that that would still implicate her of the charges of being a complicit drug mule irregardless of circumstances.

With the Click 125, it doesn't look like they changed the suspension from the previous Click 110 Combi series model, but I could be wrong on that. For what it is worth, I have run in from new a Click 110 combi and Elegance 135 in the past 8 mths or so and can say that the Click is a more comfortable ride on uneven Thai roads such as Nanai Road in Patong. Anyone who has ridden along there will know it is a dog of a track. The Elegance 135 really does thrash about a lot more, even the slightest bump will jar the whole bike - that is until you change the tire/s. The Click's rubber is broader both front and back compared to the Elegance and maybe that has a bit to do with the smoother ride. That aside, the new Nouvo SX has the same tire up front as the older model and a slightly rounder though still too thin tire on the back - so I am guessing the handling will be the same as before, fine on quality bitumen but rough on anything else. The one big safety improvement with the SX is the side stand engine cut-out switch, it took 'em long enough to figure that is a must have feature. I actually enquired around Phuket about a trade of my Elegance against a new SX but no dealer wanted to know about it.

I have just sold mine after 15 months and 12000km. I loved it. But my work and lifestyle means I rarely get to use it these days so I decided it would be better with someone who would ride her.

In all the time I had her I never had a problem. She is a beautiful bike and very easy to own. You will not regret it a bit. You might get some sniffy remarks from Harley owners (I certainly did) but I was content in the knowledge that I spent less than half on a bike that I knew would start every time (No HD man can say that with hand on heart!!).

My HD Road King started every time and I never had a problem with it during 3 years of ownership, it was build for the long hauls and we used it for that, oh boy I miss it but due to change of life style (my boy) it had to go.

The new Harley touring models have a whopping 103" displacement engine and no matter what you say nothing beats the rumble and fell of a HD.

The Vulkan is a nice looking bike but it ain't a Harley.

Hi,I don't know where to post this but its in Eastern Thailand (Sakhon Nakhon). There's been a lot of rain lately .my GF didn't call the other day because she said she couldn't because of the "big rains". I don't know if I believe her. Is this a common occurrence in Sakhon Nakhon Issan,that the cell phone service go's out? I've been bitten before by Thai girls with there Go Hoak Ghaang Jai .

Interesting if you happen to be German because I may be able to give you some information on a woman from said Sakhon Nakhon and answer your question at the same time.... A girl who works for me was unashamedly telling me in passing that she has a friend from Sakhon Nakhon who told her German boyfriend that she is at home working in a restaurant when in fact she is in Chaing Mai with one of her many wealthy Thai boyfriend. She rang my friend because her German boyfriend had been calling the day previously and she could not answer or sms him because she can not write English and was with this Thai man. The excuse that was sms'd by my employee who speaks and writes English to her friend and was forwarded to this hapless German was "Sakhon Nakhon have big rain my telephone not work." I tried to point out that conspiring with this woman to etc etc but was to no avail... "She my friend!" Justification enough I guess?

What REALLY disgusts me the most however is this practice of mothers getting their young kids to talk to multiple farangs and getting them to refer to each boyfriend as PAPA...
