  1. aahhhh - that smoking gun. That's odd 'cause I just googled the song name and posted the results. The "Benie Brown - Topic" is not his channel, no idea whose it is to be honest. Maybe a stalker. Maybe it's you. Not getting many views are you?
  2. I'll let you know when he does some Showaddywaddy covers.
  3. In a word - nope. But I will pass on your compliments to him, all be they unsolicited.
  4. BTW - for all those worried about my poor (now 20) year old son and how he's been "wraised wrong" 'Ave a look and listen: https://www.instagram.com/p/CervWzfDjen/ This was when he was 18. To get to where he is on drums, piano, production - took 1000's of hours. Wasn't flipping burgers for a cheap banger - but then he knows something a burger flipper doesn't - what it takes to get good at something. I felt that lesson was way better than "buy your own car, fattie".
  5. Gorilla glue and laughing buddha my favourites. But for cakes, purple punch. 20% thc, i put in about 10-12gs in a cake and slice into 24/25 pieces and sleep like a baby on 1 piece. Mind you, i didnt think the last batch was any good and took another 2 when the first failed to kick in. Needless to say i went to bed Friday night and woke up Saturday night.
  6. It was on the list but when they laid down all those seats, it fired off thoughts. Not sure i want to know what they all were.
  7. All, just ignore this comment. Dont feed the trolls.
  8. He sells music to youtubers, so has a professional setup and has the best electronic drum kit Roland produce. Plugs straight into the music productions kit. A few dustbin lids would not suffice for that. Although i am sure dustbin lid is an option on there.
  9. Better not mention the $10k drumkit he got for xmas then. Mind you, he wouldnt be able to run his small business without it.
  10. Yeah, looks wise, wouldnt have been my 1st choice. Having him pay half certainly helped but I get why he chose it 'cause going into the motor show it was civic hatchback and mazda cx30 on his mind. The space in the back of this helped and the test drive was comfy. He also turned 20 since this thread started.

  12. I can confrim that my beautiful Z4 M40i cannot find spaces and when it can, it usually gives up half way through parking. The entire experience is so horrific - you are sitting there wincing thinking "it's gonna hit" - but it doesn't - it just stops and says "over to you, mate". Absolutely useless bit of tech from BMW. Not sure about their other models but on a rating of 0-10, I would score it as "<deleted> useless".
  13. Yes - it's already been mentioned that "<deleted> wagon" should not be used around his mom.
  14. Well - decision is in. We went to the small motor show at Bitec last week and he decided on the Suzuki XL7. It's kind of like a miniature Pajero - but 6 seater and the back 2 rows of seats fold down - just in case he needs to get his drum kit, keyboards, amps, guitars in it. That was pretty much the deciding factor. That plus the fact I decided to make him pay half... Cost is just under 800k. Free insurance dah-de-dah - oh - and leather seats upgrade was the motor show special - but he's pretty excited, so I think it's the right car for him and his hobby. Plus lugging stuff from Saphan Sung over to Mahidol University on the other side of town was a pain in the Honday City we rented for him. BTW - he didn't put a scratch on the rental he's had all this time - but dad managed to do so parking it.
  15. v6 3.0 sounds good - how heavy is it? It's 'only' 284hp - and the Germans are usually getting 380ish-hp out of that size engine.... BUT 0-100 in under 7 seconds - that car is going to be a hoot to drive. The stats are on this page: https://www.headlightmag.com/2022-08-18-acceleration-fuel-consumption-ford-ranger-raptor-v6/ 0-100 - 6.82 80-120 - 4.66 https://www.headlightmag.com/hlmwp/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Test-Ford-Ranger-Raptor-V6-08.jpg Certainly accelerates better than it's mates. I'd go for it on these stats - then you can blow away all those chipped out diesels with your squeaky clean gasoline. Even sounds like they made sure it sounds sporty too. Which is always nice....
  16. WIth a lot of the purchasers of "go faster chips for deisel pick ups" - I think the initial chip is on their shoulders ????
  17. So these Thais were not just innocent victims? Just because some in the tourist industry fleece us, does not mean innocent people need the same treatment. In fact, you should be on their side but I guess it's a race thing, right? Some Thais are bad, so they must all be. Fortunately, this site is a proud sponsor of casual racism against Thai people, so you'll be fine
  18. I presume these are the things that cause some pick ups to kick out loads of dust every time the driver accelerates. Poisoning the population so you can get your 0-100 kph down from 16 seconds to 12 seconds is kinda pointless. It will be faster, but it won't be fast.
  19. I stop for Zebra crossings - usually it takes 2 mins for people to realize someone has actually stopped. The rumor that "you shouldn't stop because you'll be rear-ended" is a fallacy. There's plenty of reasons cars stop on the roads without causing an accident.
  20. Gotta say - the drivers weren't exactly paying attention - if I can see potholes at night, I'm sure I'd see this....
  21. Sounds like something from the "Damage Done" by Warren Fellows - but I think it's not uncommon for the little critters to get in there.
