need advice on dealing with problem neighbour
kingstonkid replied to farangbkk123's topic in Bangkok
Right does not always win. First you farang it Thai. Second You may win the battle but the LB or friends will know who complained and I would not want that hassle or worry. third if the condo board knows what is happening and allows it then you are going to lose no matter. The only ting I would do is ask your landlord if they have any other units in the building explain why you want to move but be polite and non aggressive. Then move you can not win no matter what you think and however right you are. PS You asked for our advice we have given it to you now it is up to you as to whether you heed the warnings or not. -
Thanks for the feedback

Thai immigration withdraw tourist visas of two CNN reporters
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How do you know these reporters had been here before. Accreditation makes sure that reporters are screened every country does it. Even if you have to wait 24 hours to get approval, it would be too long. I am sure CNN has people that were accredited but sent a new team. -
Thai immigration withdraw tourist visas of two CNN reporters
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There are a lot of authorized journalists in the country or accredited. CNN and others have found that it is usually easier to have centralized reporters. The only difference is that CNN either did not have one accredited to Thailand or decided to send someone else. The part to me that says there was a problem is that the Journalist groups here are made up of international and national reporters came out against them. There is always someone that is going to try to make a buck looking at the pics of Kobe Bryant's death. That does not make it right or wrong. The police did what they had to do. They had 2 tourists that were at the crime scene. That would be the same as you or I walk in there. People would have been screaming bloody murder if the RTP had just let them walk around. The resolution of the issue was perfect in my opinion. They were charged with something that any of us could be if we work while on a 45-day visa. -
CNN will want to drop this. I am sure that considering the new owners are trying to improve the company's image, this is not what they had in mind. As to the reporter, I think it might be best to go back to Aus and try a different business. She is not going to move very far up the food chain with CNN RTP could have charged them with more (forget about someone giving them permission) that person would disappear. Charging them and getting them out of the country was the fastest and easiest way to resolve this for everyone.

if you pay <deleted> and treat your people as <deleted> you get <deleted>. In order to get the brightest and best you have to provide the brightest and best outlook. Imagine if the RTP and the military paid 10k to start and provided good housing. Provided skills training so that people could get a good job after serving for a few years. You would not need the draft as young people would be lining up to join.

Thai immigration withdraw tourist visas of two CNN reporters
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The only people saying that they got permission were the reporters. If they had legitimately gotten permission, the Thai reporters association would have been up in arms. The reason for a tourist visa is that it would take too long to get accredited. They are the only international company that went inside. Also considering that they were not accredited reporters and there on a tourist visa it means that they were not reporters but strictly tourists that wanted to get their pictures taken inside of the building. Considering that [CNN] never covered many of the other things happening and rushed to cover a mass shooting that fuels their gun paranoia says a lot. Copied from CNN website "Smears of dried blood still stained the wooden floor of a classroom in northeastern Thailand on Friday, a day after one of the country’s worst massacres unfolded in perhaps one of the most unlikely places. At the Child Development Center Uthai Sawan, school bags sat uncollected on colored shelves, and photos of children smiled from the wall, clipped into place with pegs near cardboard cut-outs of ladybirds." https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/07/asia/thailand-mass-shooting-stabbing-day-care-victims-families-intl-hnk/index.html -

CNN Reporters get visa revoked, face possible prosecution
kingstonkid replied to KhunBENQ's topic in General Topics
Fox News delivered an average total audience of 2.116 million viewers in prime time, down just 1 percent from the same period one year ago, according to ratings data compiled by Nielsen. MSNBC was second with 1.295 million viewers (down 2 percent from 2021), while CNN was a distant third in prime with 731,000 viewers—down 15% from one year ago. Among viewers 25-54, Fox News was first in prime with an average audience of 292,000 viewers (down 13% from a year ago), followed by CNN (159,000 viewers, down 18%) and MSNBC (133,000 viewers, down 22%). This is from Forbes and Neilson is definitely not MAGA The reporters from out of country flew in on Thursday and screwed the proverbial pooch on Friday. Even the Thai press are screaming Anna Coren, 47, an Australian citizen, and cameraman Daniel Hodge, 34, a British national. T Both arrived on tourist visas at Swampy according to BP. You can be a few people in the Aus and US Embassies were busy kissing oral orifices this weekend. They may get tostay longer than 45 days LOL -

Bars with the best gogo dancers (best not most beautiful)

Looking at some of the girls at NANA I would say that a lot are not all that desperate. they are looking for a way to make money for the family; some are even I think in the beginning looking for MR Right. -

kingstonkid replied to Baron Samedi's topic in Bangkok
All you have to do is look at everyone in the bars along the soi and you see that that is correct. Most guys going in are either looking for interest sake or looking for maybe the great one night to make me feel good. If you are on holiday, it is a lot easier to get a girlfriend for the week you are there at NANA or PP. Either way, you are going to pay for it and with the BG you know that you are going to get some exercise. -
