Bought from the local market, the stall owner has no idea, think they are a native Thai species, seem to thrive outdoors, anyone recognise the strain?

They've recently legalised both Cannabis and abortion, seems pretty forward thinking, to me. There are many "first world" countries that could learn a lesson or two here.

Continued Legalisation will lead to a huge future boom in both tourists, and exports. Stupid to backtrack now. Plus the Party that re-criminalises Cannabis will lose a massive number of votes in future elections. Thailand is a much happier country since de-criminalisation. Except for the "Reefer Madness" right wing and religious zealots brigade, obviously.

The last thing Thailand needs is for gambling to be legalised. There are quite enough poor people that owe vast amounts of money to illegal bookies already. Nice try, with the dig at marijuana and it's users, especially as it way too early to tell.

Alcohol causes more misery than almost anything else that is legally available. it is responsible for thousands of deaths on the road, both here and abroad, every year. A minor restriction is a small inconvenience. People can't buy alcohol for a period when the schools are finishing, which is also the time of the most traffic on roads here, as people pick up their children.. It is noticeable how the drinkers on this forum think they have the right to tell others how to live, (eg the criticisms of Marijuana being legalised), but hate it when others criticise them, especially when the drinkers are wrong! One only has to see the posts decrying banning alcohol sales on special Buddhist days, to see that. Did my 90 day report yesterday, it was nice to see the Immigration Officers again, and have a chat, and a joke (my next report date is Xmas day!). Perhaps you need to have a look at yourself, and how you live your life, maybe the problems you have are self inflicted.

I got a twelve month Bank statement from Bangkok Bank, as I thought Immigration needed it, good thing they didn't ask for it, as the Bank got my address wrong! I was told it would take week to rectify it.

Never been asked for this in almost twenty years. I have always left the 800K in the Bank, it's never been touched since day one, though.

One of the best things about walking there was the shade provided by the trees. I haven't been back to Pattaya since the City Hall made it impossible to sit alongside the promenade, and watch the world go by, one of any holiday's essentials. I, like many others of my age, liked to walk for few hundred yards, then sit and rest awhile. Then they wonder why tourists stay away!

Am I correct in thinking this is a foam ice box, that you've converted? Do you use only cuttings from a female plant? Thanks for posting these, very informative!
