1. In my comment I added "???". That means I wasn't sure, if from Australia. I checked the package and could not see, where it comes from. 2. I guess you know better than me, which cheese I like most. It doesn't depend on where it comes from, but only on my OWN taste. Or do I have to ask you, which cheess I like most

I had to come to Thailand to find and eat the best cheese I ever had eaten: The Mainland Vintage Tasty Cheddar Cheese (a Australian Cheese???). I eat it every morning on a dark bread from an excellent German bakery (Canal Road about 7 km south of the Samoeng intersection). We ask a man in our village to buy the cheese in a Rimping Shop in CM or in the Supermarket of MAKRO in Mae Rim in the North of CM.

Once I have had a colonoscopy in the Sripat Hospital (or RAM???) of CM, and they removed the polyps. Advantage: controling and acting at the same time. Saved me another colon-treatment.

If I would hear and understand the jokes, I would answer by a joke:: Doctor: I’ve got very bad news – you’ve got cancer and Alzheimer’s. Patient: Well, at least I don’t have cancer.

Shocked at Prices for Flights in December 2024

It seems you didn't check: EMIRATES (LHR to BKK). Prices ~200 GBP cheaper. And Emirates was a high quality airline, atg least many years ago. -

Thai AirAsia opposes airfare reductions due to operational costs
puck2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That's not true, concerning my own experience. Example: A few days after Nerw Year I booked a direct flight (online) from Chiang Mai (CNX) to Hua Hin. Price by Air Asia: 1.241 THB including all usual fees + a fee for a 15 kg (checked) luggage for 438THB. Flight date: last week of March. "Prices are well up even with very early booking?" I cannot confirm this. -
PM Srettha to Address Wildfire Crisis Upon Return from Europe
puck2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The fire is not only set in the agricultural areas of Thailand. Here in the North they are "used" to lay fire in the forest. And it's not for mushrooms as you read so many times. It's for nothing, it's idiotic. It's in their genes! They should do it every year near to all offices and officers, head quaters of big agricultural companies and their bosses, maybe that would help. Otherwise it's the same "procedure as every year": only words and no action. Money first .... people last; Thailand be ashamed! -
Swiss national opts for jail after assaulting Thai woman in mall
puck2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I guess the criminal is afraid Thai people/neighbours would do the same to him, what he did to the Thai lady. That's why he "prefered" time in prison against being bailed out! -
It's my idea, too. Overmedicating - against sleeping problems - will also produce more health problems, because all pills etc. have side effects you cannot control. Stop reading aggressive comments here in AN or elswhere. Search a funny film or nice articles in the internet. If that all doesn't work, start counting quietly (in your brain): twenty one, twenty two, twenty three ..... . Next morning you can't remember exavctly when you stopped counting the numbers. But it deflected your attention from thinking about problems. It worked for me!

You and some of your Trump-lovers confirm for me, that the REPs of the USA have big problems by using their brains to recognise realtity. If Trumpp is electected again as POTUS, then the USA is for me LoS, the Land of Stupids. And I'm very sad, if it would happen again. Compare him to the highly intelligent Obama .... that's like night and day. Didn't Trump and his minions say Biden would be too old to be elected as a POTUS !!! REPs, please repeat it again concerning your darling

Thai wildfires rage across 10 provinces in northern Thailand
puck2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Children urgently need education in their schools about fire and pollution. After some years maybe it would work. Did everyone hear from their children that the teachers talked about the problem? It worked for me in the German elementary school concerning waste. Could be one way to solve the problem here in Thailand... at least in the future. -
Dolf, you and Trump you have only one problem: your brain ist working at the lowest level. Otherwise you and he, you would understand and recognise the realtity. It's not worthwhile for me to show you your own reality problem. Read Asean Now and understand the content of articles concerning your "orange painted darling".

Customers Complain of Bank App Deducting Money Every Minute by 33.28 Baht

Do you need a Thai bank account for Money transfers from your home country (except for big amounts) ??? Problem solved. -
... but, but, we shouldn't laugh about this requirement or criticise it ??? It seems, this central office isn't able to correct it's stxxxxxness.
-
--- and you think, a "hand drawn map is unique"?Let me laugh again. Everybody is able to produce 100's of so called hand drawn maps. What a joke (of the IMMI-Office)! You are not able to change a Google-map. It's reliable.
-
I cannot but laugh, when I read how some members defend this nonsense=idiotic rule. It is ordered by the bureaucrazy, yes you must do it. . If the bureaucrazy would order, jump from the bridge into the huay/ditch before asking for staying another year in Thailand, they would do it. If at all, a google map would be the best way to show where you are staying. It seems some IMMO's are not able to read such a map. It's nice to read that other IMMO's have some common sense.

Air Pollution Crisis Escalates with Hotspots Surge

Not at all here in the Pang Mapha Valley. Nearly dustfree, that usually will change in the middle of March (for ~+1 month). -
Many years ago, when I tried to be a member of FB, I stopped it immediately. I would have to deliver too many personal dates. It's like rotten sticky pair of gloves, I don't like.

Expat Tax Twists in Thailand: Navigating the New Landscape in 2024
puck2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Refering to my last comment, the pronblems for both sides, the Thai tax offices and the foreign tax payers are immense. Concerning my last comment, what will they do, if I transfer only a part of my "earnings" abroad to Thailand. Do they, the RD's, reduce the full tax I payed in my home country or only the proportionate part??? If YES, they would not respect my "homeland allowences". Problems, problems ..... problems for the Thai RD !!!! They would be unable to cope with the giant number of problems/questions, I'm afraid of. All the foreign countries have different tax laws. -

Thank you, this was very helpful for me, especially the answer to question #15 ! -
Unscrupulous FB-Zuckerberg is only a money-fisher, nothing else. Many years ago I would like to register, but stopped it immediately, when I saw, what he would like to know about me. I must not worry about abusing my personal details. Most important, I didn't die and I'm still happy without Facebook.
