  1. Election???? What next election?? The unelected soldier posing as a PM does not need an election, he has soldiers with guns. The other Chuckle Brother is waiting for the chance to be PM, and it does not take much savvy to know that the Thai electorate will certainly not vote for him. So again I ask "what next election"?
  2. Maybe the difference is that politicians in the UK are usually highly educated people with university degrees and have the brains to hide a lot of corruption, where here in Thailand, the soldiers running the country have no more brains than the average Thai in the street, and how it shows.
  3. I have bookedmarked this sight though I hope that soon the PCR will be done away with for flights into the UK.
  4. Steven, your pal would not have the brains to think of that, either that or it is his hatred of farangs along with the other Chuckle Brother Anutin.
  5. There was never any charge to get into the David Livingstone Park in Blantyre. Can you name any park in Scotland that charges you?
  6. Do they get admission to a National Park in their country for free? In my country, yes.
  7. Think of those who have the Elite Visa, they have already put 500.000Baht or whatever it is down the drain.
  8. If I was coming to Thailand for a holiday and needed hospital treatment, as soon as I was handed the bill, I would just wave it away and say I have already paid for it from my plane fare.
  9. I think that anybody coming to Thailand have the right to know what the 300Bt is for, is it to do with insurance? To re emburse hospitals for people who skive off not paying for treatment? Or what?
  10. You do realise you are on a forum and not texting on your smartphone. What does PPE stand for?
  11. IMO they probably do, as does the soldier posing as a PM along with his generals, and also the high ups in the overpriced hospitals. You can be sure they will all be getting their share. This is Thailand. along with his generals, along with the high ups in the hospitals.
  12. No. but things can change on a whim. They, the soldiers government, can do what they want as they don't have to depend on the electorate,
  13. The pot calling the kettle black. How can you ask an unelected soldier posing as a PM to promote a civilian Govt in Burma? Maybe this is a chance for the Thai soldier Govt to act like real politicians and be hypocrites. ????
  14. Does any senior politician in a government position in the biggest majority, or even all countries in the world, really want this pandemic to end? Just a question.
  15. Sorry for butting in here, but it could be to the OP's advantage. with the OP being 80 years old, and I know the $50.000 insurance will be fine. I wonder if the OP will get charged a lot more because of his age.
  16. It probably would if there was some way of getting rid of these soldiers, but guns against unarmed protesters??
  17. "what has Thailand's leaders learned from the pandemic so far?" The unelected soldier posing as a PM is not the smartest tool in the box, but even he will know that when this pandemic/ emdemic is over, the protesters will be out in force, so he will keep the pandemic going for as long as he can in whatever way he can.
  18. There will be plenty of mass demonstrations to get rid of this unelected soldier posing as a PM once this pandemic is over.
  19. I always avoided them because of the small print which was adding 17% on to the price I expected to pay, but that was years ago, maybe things have changed now.
