  1. I'm very very sure but not going to go into the details as it's a subject for a whole new tread and I'm not willing to discuss it.

I agree that she could become wild when confronted with evidence but I haven't seen this (her wild side) in her to be honest.

Maybe you should consider accepting the fact that you're no longer in a mutually monogamous relationship. Act accordingly and avoid confrontation while you can. Work on gradually liquidating your assets. Does the joint bank account need either or both signatures for transactions? Don't allow her to get pregnant by you.

  2. This is great because Chinese people think so highly of Africans.

Tourism is an important part of Senegal's economy, with mild climate, attractive beaches and fishing.

Sarr said Senegal hopes to attract investment from Chinese tourism companies and tourists will be welcomed by the country's beautiful scenery, blending culture and hospitable people.

It's a match made in heaven. Apart from their love of Africans, Chinese tourists are known for their love of beaches and fishing, plus Senegal is just a stone's throw from China's own coastline – almost 13,000 km as the crow flies (Peking ducks too?).

Could there possibly be an ulterior motive?

  3. Only themselves to blame. They could have voted in a government that would improve drainage instead of building shopping malls.

I will repeat myself only once a year, but here goes, as a resident of Chiang Mai for 37 years the only government ever to spend any money for Chiang Mai infrastructure was Taksin, so what you want no one no body no government ever spend money in the North or the North east, period

I guess that's understandable given that Taksin's power base was/is Chiang Mai and the north. One can find very similar instances of preferential wealth distribution amongst every democratically elected government in the world, and some. As someone recently said the only way to fix the problem of pork barrelling is from the bottom up. not the top down.

All this past dry season I have been telling anyone who would listen within the local Amphoe to clean the drains etc. Nothing, repeat nothing was ever done.

But there's no flooding in the dry season!

  4. The need to think ahead and act appropriately is in the first instance a problem created by lack of education... We can talk all you want in a critical manner about Thailand is "mi pen li" attitude, but I think they can only be changed by changing the mindset, and that is an education issue in the first instance if we really want to see long-term change in Thailand.

    But who educates the educators?

  5. Oh Costas ... this should make you feel Gay.

A young Aussie a certain 19yo named Nick Kyrgios is setting the Tennis World on fire.

His parents emigrated over here but, judging by their accents, born in your homeland.

Nick beat the World's #1 Tennis Player in the last Grand Slam.

Greek and Gay is Great ... w00t.gif

    .

    Plato would have agreed!

  6. "The Chinese people value friendship and we will never forget those good friends and good brothers who have shown mutual understanding and support vis-a-vis China and who have come through thick and thin with us."

    Translated:

We sleep even with the devil himself if we can make a dollar out of it.

Exactly their sentiment. The Chinese government is even more morally bankrupt than the US Govt. They are complete whores. Organ harvesting of their own people, ten years in prison for grandmothers practicing Fulon Gong, and now embracing the pigs of the planet. I do realize my own government was close friends with Saddam, Gaddafi, and Noriega, as long as it benefitted them. And did I mention the drug billionaire, puppet president Karzai? But, China is sinking to ever new depths. They just do not care. Kim Jung IL, and now Mugabe? Who next?

They have oil and mineral rights in most of Africa already. That's what it's all about.

  7. this is thailand, it is more important to spend your money on Alcohol and women, banks do not encourage saving, there is no difference between a current account or a savings account. in order to get rid of this mentality, alcohol advertisements need to be shut off and kids need to be taught how to save.

    And the list goes on...

  8. I have a friend who's Master Dissertation (NIDA) was a study of personal debt in Thailand, he told me that what he learned during that study caused him to loose a lot of sleep.

It is since discussing the issue with him that I have frequently suggested an expose on the transfer of land tittle deeds.

    Tittle tattle?
