The poster I responded to criticised education as a whole entity and not a single aspect of it. You quoted that response. I was not quoting anything you wrote.

No, the Democrats were correct in warning that big lie supporters were a threat to democracy.

There are many good ones hence my initial response to your post.

I never said anything was above criticism but it needs to be focussed. It is wrong to say the educational system is not meeting the needs of children because one aspect is not. You can criticise the aspect that is not meeting needs but it is hardly right to criticise the whole system because of one area.

I work in schools now. To say that educators are failing the children is just not true.

It is an aspect of the education system. Not education as a whole, to say that is to denigrate the work that teachers put in on a daily basis.

The republicans chose who they chose because that is who they wanted to choose. They need to own that...

Really? Who teaches them: To read? To write/spell/understand how to use punctuation/what a sentence is? To Count and learn how to carry out the basics of all maths? To investigate and explore concepts? To carry out scientific investigations in a systematic manner? To research, note and record information? Did you do all this with 20+ on a daily basis? Or were you too busy keeping them say down...

Funny, I teach primary and do all I can to do to keep them active and engaged. Whether they sit or not matters to me not, as long as they are learning.

That is an aspect of the education system. Not the education system itself.

And how exactly does the education system not educate people? I ask as an educator.
