  1. I’m 57 and my views remain much as they were in my 20s, if anything I have become more convinced of them.
  2. I know conspiracy theory paranoia when I see it.
  3. I’d guess there are some who are hoping he is not a vengeful man, now he is in power…
  4. Knowing Michael gove really does pay well… https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/nov/24/michael-gove-under-pressure-explain-role-ppe-deals-michelle-mone?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  5. Not often I say this, but fair play to the bib.
  6. There, my day’s already looking better.
  7. See previous reply to your conspiracy theory bs. .
  8. Whataboutary again. I never said labour were anything. They have not been in power for 12 years. The current situation, by their own admission of failure, is owned by the tories alone.
  9. But but but…labour. Away to a nunnery with your whataboutary. The tory pm candidates themselves have admitted their policies failed the U.K.during their campaigns throughout the summer. What is happening now is on them not the former govt.
  10. Pity they got 12 years of ineptness eh…
  11. Paranoid conspiracy theory bs. Get a grip or therapy.
  12. Hyperbolic nonsense. Get a grip…
  13. Nonsense. “An act of Parliament can be enforced in all four of the UK constituent countries (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland); however as a result of devolution the majority of acts that are now passed by Parliament apply either to England and Wales only, or England only;” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Act_of_Parliament_(UK)#:~:text=An act of Parliament can, generally acts only relating to “Laws do not necessarily apply to the whole of the UK as different countries within the UK have devolved powers for different areas of government, like health or education. Laws can sometimes apply to only England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.” https://eachother.org.uk/how-do-laws-become-law/
  14. Is that enshrined in legislation, because if not, it is meaningless what Cameron said.
  15. Yeah right, that’s why they are being forced to take industrial action. Nothing to do with the utter debacle of an economy the last 12 years of inept governance has wrought.
  16. What goalposts were moved? As far as I know there was nothing in the legislation that said another referendum couldn’t be held. Nor is there anything stating there must be a set time between referendums. Now if I am wrong then please be so good and direct me to the specific legislation that shows there is a legal reason another referendum cannot be held at this time.
  17. Nah. Since Brexit happened against the Scot’s will, they should be allowed a say on whether to remain in a union after such a huge, economically perilous, change.
  18. Nope, but if businesses and the like want to go cashless then there is little you can do about it. All hyperbole aside, see your post, it's the way it is and most people I know actually prefer paying by phone/card. Me, couldn't care less either way...but them I'm not big on conspiracy theory paranoia and BS.
  19. Times have moved on, just move along with them. It's now the norm and you can't stop it.
  20. Still no answer I see,,,
  21. And you won't answer the question, not even a feeble attempt to explain it away...thought not...
  22. What did you mean by making this comment in regard to a post on the eu bureaucracy? The implied meaning is clear...
