  1. Just keeps getting worse. Chaos reigns with musks paid blue tick scheme. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/nov/11/twitter-blue-check-verification-impostor-accounts
  2. Trump starting to really lose the plot now... ''In a statement, Trump claimed he sent federal agents to stop vote rigging during Florida’s 2018 election, in which the Republican narrowly beat Democrat Andrew Gillum for the governor’s mansion. “I was all in for Ron, and he beat Gillum, but after the Race, when votes were being stolen by the corrupt Election process in Broward County, and Ron was going down ten thousand votes a day, along with now-Senator Rick Scott, I sent in the FBI and the U.S. Attorneys, and the ballot theft immediately ended, just prior to them running out of the votes necessary to win. I stopped his Election from being stolen,” Trump wrote in a diatribe that called DeSantis “Ron DeSanctimonious”. There is no evidence of tampering with Florida’s 2018 election." https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2022/nov/11/us-midterm-election-2022-senate-house-results-congress-democrats-republicans-politics-live-updates-latest?filterKeyEvents=false&page=with:block-636e65558f088f91b4c654f0#block-636e65558f088f91b4c654f0
  3. Nonetheless he is still relevant to this thread . Regarding desantis, trumps narcissistic remarks about desantis standing against him will cause a lot of grief during the primaries if followed through. One wonders if trump will cry fraud if he loses in them. Wouldn't surprise me at all.
  4. Got to hand it to him, dying twice is very rock and roll.
  5. So using black magic means swinging an axe...got it.
  6. thanks for combining my daily laugh and shaking head in disbelief moment in one story Asean.
  7. He can’t even field a communications dept. “Messages seeking comment were left with Twitter, but it is unlikely someone will respond as the communications department has been laid off.” https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/nov/10/exodus-twitter-elon-musk-possible-bankruptcy?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  8. Bankruptcy looming for tw*tter or just more musk bs. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/nov/10/exodus-twitter-elon-musk-possible-bankruptcy?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  9. As his contributions to the midterms were partially responsible for the less than expected performance his actions are a legitimate, on topic point of discussion.
  10. trump stand aside-that’ll be the day. No problem with republicans winning and governing when they govern for the country and put personal dictates aside. I may not like them and I will always stand against that which I deem to be the wrong path, but I accept democratic choices. trump did neither and never will. His narcissism is too engrained.
  11. Trump reaping as he sowed. Good riddance to him and his malignant poisonous influence. He won’t be missed.
  12. No hate, just glad to see the demise of a malignant influence that has poisoned American democracy and many peoples trust in it because of lies and self serving conspiracy theories spouted by the former president. No one said this thread was about trump, yet most commentators are showing how trump was in many ways to blame for the relatively poor performance of the republicans in the mid terms. Those commentators include former allies. Cue exit music…
  13. Nope, it’s more like one nil down at half time and still lots to play for. Plus the oppositions former captain has turned on the new star and is threatening to torpedo his career if he try’s to prevent him retaking the armband. Inflation slowing down, USA deficit falling, markets spiking upwards and trump being blamed for the republican not performing anywhere near the levels of past opposition parties in midterm elections. The light at the end of the maga tunnel is visible. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/nov/10/why-democrats-had-best-midterms-presidents-party-years?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/nov/10/us-inflation-rate-october-consumer-prices-index?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/nov/08/donald-trump-ron-desantis-2024-president-campaign?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other Cost of living: Shares jump in US and Asia as inflation cools https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-63593361 https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2022/11/10/economy/us-monthly-budget-deficit-october/index.html
  14. Man is completely nuts. His narcissistic nature prevents him from admitting to anything that bruises his oh so fragile ego. Delusional.
  15. Yeah, that post of mine was callous when thinking about those losing their jobs, I’ll delete it. While I do feel some empathy for those losing their jobs, I will not personally miss neither tw*tter or facilebook if they do go under.
  16. trump should by now be seeing the writing on the wall…but will he read the message. “I thought about it and my dream was broken I clutch at images like dying breath” Truth hits everybody The Police
  17. trump’s grip on the party continues to slip away. “Few senior Republicans seem willing to hustle for Trump. Chris Christie, a Trump ally and former New Jersey governor and candidate for the presidential nomination, told the AP: “We lost in ’18. We lost in ’20. We lost in ’21 in Georgia. And now in ’22 we’re going to net lose governorships, we’re not going to pick up the number of seats in the House that we thought and we may not win the Senate despite a president who has a 40% job approval. “There’s only one person to blame for that and that’s Donald Trump.” Christie said Trump elevated flawed candidates: “The only animating factor in determining an endorsement is, ‘Do you believe the 2020 election was stolen or don’t you?’… It is a completely self-centered determination.” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/nov/10/trump-advised-delay-announcement-2024-run-georgia-run-off?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  18. Inflation dropping in USA and spike in market values. https://www.theguardian.com/business/live/2022/nov/10/next-ceo-lord-wolfson-brexit-foreign-workers-uk-economy-us-inflation-ftx-bitcoin-business-live?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other trumpism coming to an end and economy starting to turn the corner. Light indeed at the end of the tunnel.
  19. Going to the wire in senate “Good morning from Washington. This is Chris Stein, taking over from Martin Belam in London, and directing your attention away from the nation’s capital momentarily to a place much further to the west: Nevada. There, it’s starting to look like Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto may be regaining her lead in the race for the state’s crucial Senate seat as more mail-in ballots are counted, according to Cook Political Report, which also sees Democrat Mark Kelly retaining his Senate seat in Arizona:“ https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2022/nov/10/midterm-elections-2022-results-senate-house-us-democrats-republicans-live-updates-latest-news?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  20. Good to see that no matter what farage ''thinks'' I continue to think the opposite and disagree with him. There should be a phrase- ''what would farage do...once that is ascertained, do the opposite.''
  21. i think its mitch who's nervous...not anything like the results he expected.
