Thai condo scam costs 200 victims 3 billion baht
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How the hell does anyone get coerced into paying out £1 million quid. These people must have their brains in their backsides. Coerced is not fraud in obtaining money - its you agreeing to pay it ! Nuts -

Starmer Stands Firm on Pay Amid Union Strike Threats
RichardColeman replied to Social Media's topic in World News
If anyone thinks that lying Liebour and dishonest Starmer will not cave into his paymaster unions, you must have been living on a different planet for most of your life. Just bravado for the public. As for fiscal prudence and fairness balance - I hardly think robbing pensioners to pay unions is fair. UK voters remorse hopefully will make this clown a one term - or sooner - loser -

Britain Suspends Syrian Asylum Claims Amid Political Upheaval
RichardColeman replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It's safe to go home - go home. My opinion is that people should only be allowed asylum in a country when they accept that should the country be deemed safe later, you have to return. If you have had a family by then you are free to take them with you, OR show that your partner can sustain you on their wage / income / savings like everybody else has to do to go live in the USA. NO money, no life in the UK. -
Taxation Registration
RichardColeman replied to StevieAus's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
What will they do if you do not pay tax, arrest you at immigration ? I have said before, the idea of taxing people in Thailand earning money coming from abroad if you work for an abroad company and you have not paid tax on it in that country is FINE in my opinion. It should be that ONLY, nothing else. If this gets to the point of a tax on your savings in your home country and having to prove you had the savings years prior to sending it and how it was earned and taxed, then Thailand loses alot of its expats, and IF you have to pay millions of tax when sending money to buy a house it will also fall apart as the thai housing market cannot accept a 25% tax on foreign buyers -

Personally I'd give her 5 years in prison to think about it. She is certainly now totally unemployable outside of ant pathetic liberal left democrat hole. This is exactly why the democrat party is about to split into two

Does “Not in the Mood” Even Exist in Asia?
RichardColeman replied to 123Stodg's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Thai women are probably more accommodating as they know when they say no their farang fella can walk 100 yards down the road and pork someone prettier and younger and maybe get a contender for their boo ! That said, my mrs generally says no after eating som tam and to be honest for me the risk is too great when that happens -
Agreed , they have two choices - either go further left or right towards the middle. Problem is though that the far left democrats are unable to budge from their stance and are more likely to form another party than be reasonable. This could actually be the end of the democrat party as a political force as we knew it if they cannot come together.
