  1. Just a small reform detail beside:
In other countries, the police must lock away their weapons at shift end into a gun cabinet at the police station.
It must be forbidden to carry the weapon in free time.
With this measure, some shoot outs could be avoided.
I have several times seen drunken policemen after work in nightclubs who showed of there weapons to be impressive.
    Not fun.
  2. It is really stupid, isn´t?
Why they not organize a statewide signatures action?
    A simple petition.
    Statewide!

I agree that in future no criminals and/or corrupt people can work in government, parliament or as a civil servant.
    Yes / No
It will be excluded, from now on, all persons from the Parliament, which
    a have criminal records.
    b running free on bail.
c were already banned from parliament in the past.
d against are corruption or crime cases opened.
    I agree Yes / No
I guess in 1 Week they can get a lot of signatures from all parts in Thailand.

The problem with your masterplan is, that would leave Thailand with absolute NO politicians at any level!

Which actually could be a blessing in disguise!!coffee1.gif

That is for me zero problem!

If all rotten eggs are out!

Thailand have a lot of honest people.

Let them rule and not the criminals.

  4. "Dear police officers,

I am the caretaker prime minister.

Maybe you have already heard that we want to make reforms.

My first question is: who of you has accepted in the past bribes?

    Please raise your hands.

    No one here?

    Ok, that is fine.

Then we can send next month the new tax police.

They will check all your assets and will make a projection/ correlation analysis with your official income.

If anyone here feels that he has amassed too much money in the past,

We have set up an account for donations for needy children.

Please donate. The donation will then be credited benevolently at your next tax audit.

    Thank you for your attention."

  5. The left hand of the police department doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Really makes you feel safe have such a police department doesn't it!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I have a feeling that more and more will finally come out as to who has been behind all these shootings and killings. Only in time.

"The left hand of the police department doesn't know what the right hand is doing."

It is also important that clear separation of powers prevails in a democracy.
Executive, legislative, judicial and open media.
For example: Chalerm Yubamrung is a minister who also chairs the DSI's special case committee.
    Incredible
That is never good for a democracy that lawmakers holding also police positions.
The possible abuse of power is intrinsically programmed here.
If they make reforms, hopefully they do here a clear cut.

  6. It seems that this subject has attracted the most jibs and jokes of any item on TV in recent

memory, and good for us all, we need a bit of humor in these testing times...

How you can become quickly a millionaire in Thailand?
Easy: Start an airline as a billionaire.
And how can you win your losses back?
    Go into politics!
  7. Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit

    http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/pheu-thai-spokesman-gets-one-year-jailterm-without-suspension/

The Appeals Court on Thursday sentenced Pheu Thai party spokesman Prompong Nopparit and another Pheu Thai member to one-year imprisonment without suspension after finding them guilty of defaming the former president of the Constitution Court.

He was sentenced in two instances.
    He is a convicted criminal.
He is still the spokesman of the PT Party.
    Running around on bail.

No place for criminals and/or corrupt people in government, parliament or as a civil servant.

  8. So, and what will the caretaker prime minister say?
Red Shirts coming down to BKK.
    Good for peace and unity?

That we have Suthep on the Streets,
    it is YL fault.

Who answers only 2 of 150 questions in Parliament, must not be surprised that people are on the streets.

No place for criminals and/or corrupt people in government, parliament or as a civil servant.
That would be good for the whole of Thailand.

Only the criminals and corrupt people blocking this "cleaning" now and shouting for civil war.
Coz they are the only ones who have to lose something (hopefully there freedom, power and money).

Many Thais from all parts of the country, want to see all corrupt politicians and civil servants to be prosecuted in court and
sentenced to heavy jail sentences and their illegally acquired assets seized,
then a ban for life as politicians or civil servants in the Thai administration

  9. Yes this is matching with my calulations:

This is only the prelude for a financial disaster.
I guess the loss on 680 Billion + 180 Billion
minus rotten Stockpile – 12 Billion Cash in BAAC – outstanding 80 Billion loans
= around 800 Billion Baht loss. (The BAAC is going bankruptcy)
+ unknown Flood fund money 350 Billion (ti nai?)
+ Car scheme (more and more can no longer finance their loans)
+ the future rice harvest, which must then be sold to a large extent on the world market.
Many farmers will then make losses because their production costs are higher than the world market price.
Many farmers will lose then their land.
If that is published among the farmers, then good night.
With this money they could modernize all schools and public hospitals in Thailand.
    Could?
Sorry this money is already gone, burned in idiocy.
  10. The timing is very interesting.
First the father of the sharp shooter at 02.01.2014; 07:05
Regarding the “men in black” seen on the rooftop of the Labour Ministry on December 26 as shown in social media,
Chalerm denied that they were policemen but they were protesters attempting to use the Labour Ministry to carry out violent incidents.
Then the national police chef at 02.01.2014; 09:59
National Police Office commissioner Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew this morning admitted that the men in black” on the roof-top of the Labor Ministry’s building near the Thai-Japan youth centre in Din Daeng are police.
    What a face loss.
    The lie is obvious.
You can think whatever you want about the thai police, but no one breaks the unwritten law.
And this unwritten law exists in all police units around the world.
If you shoot a police officer, then you have all the police officers against you.
    Forever!
This is a strong signal where the police stands.
I guess the days of his son, as an officer in the Royal Thai Police, are numbered.
The bad apples have to get out. This is the work the police have to do.
    Clean up the own rows
No place for criminals and/or corrupt people in government, parliament or as a civil servant.
  11. Good to postpone the election, coz there are still around 50% criminals on the electoral lists.

Since 14 years, always the same corrupt and criminals faces.
This is now enough for many many people.

Many Thais want to see all corrupt politicians and civil servants to be prosecuted in court and sentenced to
heavy jail sentences, and their illegally acquired assets seized, then
a ban for life as politicians or civil servants in the Thai administration

    Happy new year to everybody.

  12. Varathep was banned from politics by the Supreme Court on September 30, 2009 and received a two-year suspended sentence in a corruption case involving the two- and three-digit lottery during his term as deputy finance minister.

    He is convicted of corruption!

For criminals lifetime ban, no access to public service aka public state money anymore!

There are so many criminals on electoral lists, it is incredible.

No wonder that there are always riots, when criminals run the country!

Many many people are feed up with this "shit"!

    No criminals in parlament anymore!

I hope the head of the state, the courts, the army, the CC, the NACC, the EC and honest people can clean up this mess.

Criminals belong in jail, and not in the government or parliament.

If elections, then without the criminals.

Especially those who were convicted by crimes or corruption,
and all this guys running around on bail (some since 12 years or more),
    and all condemned as corrupt
and all they were banned from parliament already. The barrier of five years ban is "shit", a failing.
and all listed in one or more of the 25000 pending corruption cases.

You are right my friend, but this will continue and there isn't much one can do.

At the same time this makes me feel alive in Asia, seeing the struggle that goes on.

It's the opposite of the western world.coffee1.gif Thank god!

Many many Thais want to see all corrupt politicians and civil servants to be prosecuted in court and sentenced to heavy jail sentences

and their illegally acquired assets seized, then a ban for life as politicians or civil servants in the Thai administration.

That would make me more feel alive, as to see them struggle ( for many years more).

  13. Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order (CAPO) head Surapong Tovichakchaikul says the caretaker government is advising the Election Commission (EC) to use army!

Sending some tanks to the south?
    For Peace and Order?

He is Thaksin Shinwatra's cousin in-law; Sumalee Tovichakchaikul (Surapong's aunt) married to Satien Shinawatra, Thaksin's uncle.
Surapong has 2 children: Nuttapong Tovichakchaikul and Supisara Tovichakchaikul.

    24 ม.ค. 2555
Thailand's Opposition Democrat Party on Tuesday filed an impeachment petition against Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul for their alleged roles in connection with the return of a Thai passport to fugitive ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra.

Mr Surapong infringed several foreign ministry regulations including the return of a passport to a person with an outstanding arrest warrant.

In December, Mr Surapong disclosed that an ordinary passport was returned to fugitive ex-premier Thaksin as a ‘New Year's gift’ for him.

Nice family business they have built up here.

  15. Election officials who fail to perform their duty and resign amid disruptions of the poll registration process are liable to legal punishment, Caretaker Interior Minister Charupong Ruangsuwan has warned.

    Crazy!

Here, the Electoral Commission is indeed officially threatened!
    incredible.

And that says a Caretaker Minister of Interior.
Graces and political ethics at the lowest level.
