One Submarine from china costs 12 Billion Baht.
The Shopping center 5 Billion Baht.
50% less than one submarine.
What a madness.

You are in your mid 40s.
You have 2,5 mio Euros, around 100 mio baht,
then there is no reason to deal quickly with marriage issues.
Take your time and go with the flow.
Relax and enjoy everything what Thailand has to offer.-

Prayut wastes his talents as a PM in politics. I wish he would focus on the music only. He should compose and sing his own songs of happiness.

The legal minimum income is 300 Baht per day. if a pack of branded cigarettes cost 140 baht, then you do not need to be Einstein, to predict the growth in the black market beforehand. The government likes to increase taxes, but without thinking ahead. They are fiscal policy amateurs.

This monopoly recently reported a loss of 1.5 Billion Baht , the first such loss.
This means that the Thai taxpayers are now subsidising the company as it's a state enterprise.
How can the monopoly generate such a huge loss?
In a business where all other tobacco companies in the world achieve billions in profits? Who is just putting all the money in his bag? -
The entire watch theater has been running for over four months and almost all Thai people laugh about it.
The damage in terms of credibility is huge. And now, after four months, he comes out with the alleged truth?
Why did he not clear that up on the first day? Any other government would immediately fire such a member for damaging the government's reputation. This case has all the elements like Inability, stupidity, lies, negligence, etc. Is he still suitable to hold such a high office?

After four months, the NACC got now their case to close order.
It is quite normal that you borrow 25 luxury watches worth 30 million baht from a dead friend for years.
What luck that all the watch bracelets fited so accurately
around the fett short wrist.
What a funny institution of fighting corruption. That was over four months ridiculously many hot air bubbles. If the whole thing was not so sad for the progress of the country, you can only look forward to the small children entertainment factor.

Zebra crossings are a death trap in Thailand.
Especially for first-time visitors, who know from their home countries, that the vehicles will stop to let pedestrians over.
Not here!
Beware! -
He has nothing to fear when reading this story.
Since it took 20 years until a corrupt police officer was punished.-

...as the crimes he committed began in 1998 when complaints were lodged with the NACC....
They need 20 years to punish a corrupt policeman?
Or is this a misprint?-

The golden mantra.....always be more worth alive then dead....
Never buy in somebody else's name.....leasehold seems a good alternative....have a will in both countries that clearly leaves the property to a family member of yours....and of course, avoid getting married, kids and if possible, pretend the house is rented even if it's on leasehold......any other good suggestions ?
Have everything you have enumerated, land + house in my wifes name (with a 30 year lease for me), 22 years of marriage and children. But only 30% of my money is tied up in it. If everything collapsed today, I could have fun in Nana every day until the end of my life.
I find the right budgeting with money much more important! -
Sad, Tragic, RIP.
Emotions and finances never go well together.
How many times has it been to read here, that many have ruined themselves financially in Thailand.
Be it with a business, buying land or just with an unfortunate marriage.
Golden Rules:
Never invest your entire money in a project over which you have no total control.
Never invest more than 50% of your entire money in a single project.
Nothing is constant forever, be it love or the income from a business.
Plan not only for the best case, but also for the worst case.
When doubts arise, they are always entitled.
Learn to say no.

I've never heard anything like that before. Price for a new car and then plus more than 100% for maintenance? That can not be.
My Toyota pickup was original price 1 million. I then pay more then another million on top for 10 years maintenance?
No way.
Obviously a case for the anti-corruption commission. -

Section 113 of the Thai Penal Code
Whoever, commits an act of violence or threatens to commit an act of violence in order to:
(1) Overthrow or change the Constitution;
(2) Overthrow the legislative power, the executive power or the judicial power of the Constitution, or nullify such power; or
(3) Separate the Kingdom or seize the power of administration in any part of the Kingdom, is said to commit insurrection, and shall be punished with death or imprisonment for life.
Thailand has quite severe penalties.
But 10 years prison for vaping is nonsense. This only promotes
extortion and corruption.

With the dual pricing, the government sets a bad example for everyone else. Yesterday on phuket beach: pancake for foreigners 50 baht. Coconut for foreigners 60 baht.
my Thai lady got the pancake and coconut for 30 baht each. The rip-off mentality is now permeating a large part of the thai society. And many small thai shop owners wonder that the tourists prefer shopping at 7/11.
Everyone pays there same price.-

Maybe the rest of the world should start taxing unhealthy food like McD, Burger K, KFC, Coca Cola, Pepsi, etc. Also the malfunctioning Microsoft products, Intel spy processors, HD bikes, Nike, Lewis.
Incredible that the citizens of the United States let such a fart at the atomic buttons. -

Trump thinks only of the increase of the money for himself and his friends. They place their bets on a short-term falling dow Jones.
Then donald tweets some nonsense about steel war. The dow falls and he cashes in. The other way around is it too. Then he tweets that he would like to drink with North Korea Kim coffee.fe.
This us president is a threat to the planet earth.

Brexit no problem.
The German carmakers are crying, the German food discounters celebrate. "Aldi and Lidl will benefit if more consumers in the UK have to pay more attention to the price in the future." Aldi and Lidl have recently announced massive investments in new stores and in the modernization of their UK branches. Hurray.
