    When I lived in Buriram the 3 hour journey to Siem Reap took us to an international oasis of good food and wine at sensible prices. I think there was a pedo area somewhere out of Phnom Penh that eventually got closed down.

    Horses for courses. Personally, I have experienced a greater warmth from Cambodian ladies. Some even say that the smile is more genuine than the famed 'Thai smile'.

    Actually, rather like Thailand, they don't. But Pnohm Penh has more to offer in that respect than Siem Reap.

    There is a relevance to extensions. If an overseas marriage is registered at a local amphur what documents are needed from the amphur to support an extension application based on marriage.

    That is some statement ????, for me, I am not sure anything can beat Tinnies. I like the deep filled Buriram pies over the usual 'Pattaya pies' but their highlight was their steak and kidney puddings....suet pastry is not easy to handle in Thailand but they somehow managed it better than others

    Whilst I agree with all that, things have changed over the last 15 years. There are far more 'Farang friendly' outlets and a big increase in local Farang distribution. When I stay in Buriram province I can get supplies of everything that I can get in Pattaya
