  1. Have regularly used them regularly, especially for Schengen requirements. Easy online application process. https://www.msig-thai.com/en/personal-insurance/travel-easy-worldwide
  2. This is an interesting development. Would you mind starting a new thread - and/or provide a link to what you read.
  3. He is referring to monthly income..
  4. I wonder how your mind works at times............................... A totally redundant argument, although it is mildly interesting to know that if I had not pursued my quest for a life in Thailand in 2006, I could have been better off by GBP 640,000
  5. Do you think it gives him a stiffy?..........
  6. Which Immigration office? Usually just TM47.....no fee. TM7 is for an extension of stay. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1666
  7. Svay Pak..... https://www.nypress.com/news/inside-k11-phnom-penhs-notorious-child-brothel-DWNP1020031118311189998#:~:text=K11 is in the village, the country a decade ago.
  8. You may need to learn how to use the smiley emoticon because, in all honesty, I can never tell when you are joking and when you are serious.
  9. When I lived in Buriram the 3 hour journey to Siem Reap took us to an international oasis of good food and wine at sensible prices. I think there was a pedo area somewhere out of Phnom Penh that eventually got closed down.
  10. Get a grip !! ....and, there is no prostitution in Thailand..
  11. Grand Palace...a must see as are the next 4. Mahanakhon Tower ICON Siam Wat Arun/Wat Pho Chinatown Little India Asiatique with or without a river trip.....a bit touristy and may not yet be back to it's best. JJ Weekend market. Soi Cowboy if you want to show the 'entertainment industry' Khon show for a bit of Thai culture
  12. Horses for courses. Personally, I have experienced a greater warmth from Cambodian ladies. Some even say that the smile is more genuine than the famed 'Thai smile'.
  13. Actually, rather like Thailand, they don't. But Pnohm Penh has more to offer in that respect than Siem Reap.
  14. There is a relevance to extensions. If an overseas marriage is registered at a local amphur what documents are needed from the amphur to support an extension application based on marriage.
  15. Certainly an 'alien'
  16. Will never happen
  17. An agent has no greater standing with a UK bank than any individual. The answer is no for a conventional bank .........try WISE.
  18. I am well aware of that..... Roger de Courcey introduced the innuendo of the word with his ventriloquist act in the 1970/80's
  19. You have obviously never met him..........???? (those that know, will know).
  20. Don't buy it then............................
  21. That is some statement ????, for me, I am not sure anything can beat Tinnies. I like the deep filled Buriram pies over the usual 'Pattaya pies' but their highlight was their steak and kidney puddings....suet pastry is not easy to handle in Thailand but they somehow managed it better than others
  22. No. I use Nookies Delights who source source all the usual Pattaya products.
  23. Whilst I agree with all that, things have changed over the last 15 years. There are far more 'Farang friendly' outlets and a big increase in local Farang distribution. When I stay in Buriram province I can get supplies of everything that I can get in Pattaya
