  1. I would say that on my 3 forays into soi Buakhao in September it has been as busy as was in September 2019. That is MY Pattaya and I am happy that there are still no Chinese.
  2. Indeed. She has an NMax. She is 1.62m and is OK with the Forza but not 100% comfortable
  3. I think that you are being unusually naïve by setting your score just from a photograph - I accept that is a bit of a game, set by someone else. OK, playing under those rules, on appearance, I would give a 7. On appearance she would be a target barfine in most of the bars that I occasionally frequent. In fact the biggest mistakes that I have made is to choose what looked like a 9 or a 10.....they were the starfish and loved themselves too much. That 7 could become a 10 (or a 4) before the night was out - and certainly before sunrise.
  4. Should take a tuk-tuk.......enhances the 'feeling states'........ ambience is intangible, yet very real - I rarely get that in a car.
  5. It wasn't a survey of one....
  6. Interest rates had gone from 17% in 1979 down to 9% in 1982, and were back to 14.88% in October 1989. https://thinkplutus.com/uk-interest-rate-history/
  7. Nope! Not if you scratch a little way under the surface........................and look at the rising suicide rates.
  8. Longer than you have...........................
  9. True. I doubt that the opposition parties even bothered to hand out inducements.
  10. Your grasp on economics is very limited, isn't it? Whether the policies are effective, or not, will not be determined in the space of a few days
  11. Marginally off topic, but remember that marriage invalidates any existing Wills.
  12. No, I think it was independent and was located on the left (towards 2nd) just after Areca Lodge and just before the bar complex.
  13. The best place was said to be in soi Diana - I don't know if it survived Covid. The yellow TT boxes always give a fair rate of exchange.
  14. IMO, and whilst that is legally possible, a separate Will would be better. For the minimal cost involved it means that the UK assets can be dealt with under UK Probate law in the UK for the benefit of the UK beneficiary and the Thai assets under Thai probate in Thailand for the benefit of the Thai beneficiary. Cleaner, neater and probably quicker and cheaper in the long run. Simply cross refer the two Wills; mine states that I have a separate Thai Will covering the few assets that own in that country. (My response would have been the same had you suggested incorporating the Thai assets into the UK Will).
  15. I think "intensively" was redundant. The briefest of studies would draw the same conclusion.....
  16. You are very welcome. A simple Thai Will should see your father's wishes achieved.
  17. At the moment she is entitled to 100% of the UK assets and 50% of the Thai assets (that are not already in her name)......the Rules of Intestacy apply in each country. I think that you are very fortunate to have raised these matters now whilst something can still be done to protect your father's wishes (and your inheritance)
  18. The advice on here so far has been better than the paid for advice from UK solicitors! ????
  19. Now the rubbish starts. Did you pay for that advice. I confirm that the original Will became invalid upon your father's marriage (assuming it was legally registered at a local amphur in Thailand. That marriage is legal everywhere in the world and any existing Wills are revoked. https://www.whnsolicitors.co.uk/newsroom/family/what-happens-to-my-will-if-i-get-married-or-divorced/#:~:text=Does getting married invalidate my,your assets will be divided.
  20. It doesn't actually work that way. Last year I was 14 days early because I had to do a 90 day report. They were fine with that. This year I didn't report.
  21. You seem to be obsessed with booze/bars - and whining! Being a squaddie doesn't give you the right to whine.
  22. I don't use bar stools, I don't feel silly and I was bright enough in 2006 to ensure that I could live comfortably even @ GBP/THB 30..........and you whinger?
  23. Keep persisting...................................boring as it is.
  24. Have you thought about a career in journalism? You seem to be adept at distorting the facts.
