  1. Anyway, this is all as backards innit? I mean, the police are a major minus-point of this great nation and they have guns by default shooting up the place when they feel like it. Now, at a time when they really need them, they go out half-cocked.

Wrong, they are assured this is a peaceful demonstration, so they will not 'really need them'..........unless the demonstrators run out of control.....over to you Suthep.....ball...your court....

Looking at the continued cowardly attacks on the protest and the ineffectiveness of the police force in policing, the PDRC should probably have their own armed guards.

    Ball in Yingluck's court methinks.

If the police and the government have details of 3rd party attacks as they claim to have, then publish and act or be dammed

  2. Which army chief in the world behaves like he is an independent body and dose not come under the ruling government? Which army chief in the world condones c apital shutdown by protesters and says that no violenece should directed atthe protesters by security authorities.

This army chief is basically a Suthep sympathiser or has an agenda of his own. The masses should come out and remove him, all lower reanking soldiers who belong to the masses should revolt and eradicate all their yellow generals in the army.

    Yawn....

If you have some proof of this, please provide it.

If not, then please frame your toxic conjecture as an opinion and refrain from promoting violence which, it has to be said, comes more to some than it does to others.

  3. For those who do not understand tomorrow's protests:

    funny-democracy-pictures-images-photos.j

You could have fooled me with those red faces on the sheep. But yes.. they should have been buffaloes to be red supporters.

Your words is exactly why the majority of Thais don't vote for the Democrat party. You think everyone that doesn't vote Democrat is stupid like a buffalo.

    Shame on you.

The majority also does not vote red.. sorry to burst your bubble.

But i think the comparison between buffalo's and red supporters comes close actually. Rice not paid out.. believing that its the mistake of the democrats / EC. I mean people who are stupid enough to believe that can only be as stupid as a buffalo.

Your AV gives me a good idea how the average farang red shirt looks like.

However it was not me who started insulting the Thai people.. it was you with the stupid cartoon i just countered it a bit.

You are incorredt. The majority did vote red. You are simply wrong.

The reds had not one single vote.

They polled the same as my pet rabbit who doesn't exist anyway

  4. How is that an interview???

Again: not a single question about the "what" and "how"!

    "Exclusive" to the Nation.

IMO a planted PR piece and as such one should not have expected difficult or probing questions.

Why don't you write to him and ask if you can interview him on behalf of TV?

Thait Spot is not a troll.

A troll would make the same comment, but a troll would do it on purpose.

    I prefer trolls though.

  5. Don't believe Suthep when says he wants no violence.

He needs it in order to give the military an excuse to make a coup.

He is positioning himself, as carefully as he can to make it look like he or his follwers did not instigate anything.

A red shirt frame would be perfect.

Its game over for him or his follwers if they get caught starting the bloodshed.

I used to have an African grey. Had to leave him in the UK.

He had a wider repertoire than you

  6. Its obvious that the yellows, or some branch of them, need to instigate violence to initiate a coup, and have the military reinstall a goverment to their liking.

Unfortunatelly, violence is the only card the yellows have left.

    No Mister Moooan.

The PDRC has many cards and I am sure they will all fall into place.

    Peacefully.

  7. Dear Mr Suthep, please answer me 1 question:

    - If you want reforms so badly, why did you not implement them while you were PM and Vice-PM with Abhisit for 3 years?

    Yours sincerely.

Perhaps at that point they didn't foresee Thaksins sister @ the helm, his cronies in key positions and Thailand on the verge of bankruptcy and the rice industry decimated.

What utter tosh! Are you seriously suggesting that there was no corruption under Abhisits government? The Shins didn't invent corruption, its been endemic in Thai society for eons.

Thailand on the verge of bankruptcy??? what!! are you serious? This is the 24 or 25th largest economy in the world! It is not bankrupt.(at least not yet -and if it does bankrupt itself it'll be Suthep's fault)

The rice industry decimated? Are you sure? Now the Baht is declining against major currencies, they'll be able to sell the rice. PT finance minister Kittirat wanted to reduce the value of the baht last year, but the governor of the Bank of Thailand refused as his rich friends were busy getting even richer by buying up shares in foreign companies on the back of a strong Baht!

Do a bit of basic research before you post.

Suthep is looking to get rid of corruption

You are looking back in history to justify it.

  8. If there is a civil war he will retreat? What a coward. He instigates the violence, commits criminal acts, provoke everyone, bring the naive people to their death... And then he says that if there is a civil war he will retreat? If there is a civil war it is already too late. This guy is talking more nonsense everyday.Hopefully the peaceful side (pro-government and pro elections candle lighting people) will stay away from this mad crowd and their mad leader. I think the reds are scared that he makes more sense every day and gets more support every day despite his history whereas Thaksin is losing support and the plot and Yingluck never had either

  9. The aim for the Democrats is to rewrite the constitution to hinder or water down the weight of the votes from the Northern Provinces

Do you have anything to support your unfeasible contention?

They did the exact same in 2006. The voting system was changed in order to water down the weight of the votes in the North.

    n

It really is as simple as that: the party of the ruling elite can't garner enough votes by democratic means. They believe these peasants in the North and North East shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway, as they aren't clever enough to know what's best for them. Ispo facto they shouldn't vote or at best their votes shouldn't count as much as the clever people in Bangkok who know best.

So, according to your geography, Thailand ceases south of Bangkok.

    P'Lok saw the light.

  11. Well done Khun Suthep. A well deserved recognition by a much respected organisation. May you have much success in your mission over the next few days/weeks. Message to the Thaksin lovers 'If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all'.

Khun Suthep should change his name: Khun Mussolini would be more correct.

Wow! How original. Have you considered a career in journalism? Thaksin has a few organs that might interest you.

Well if such a man (Suthep) with such a doctrine be nominated for such a thing called Asia's person of the year then many idiots would stand a batter chance to receive such a recognition! Voters must be bunch of dump, deff, blind cowards who would stand all time lifelong idiots recognition

    Typical red post.

Slips in the word "batter" along with a flurry of invective. 5 to be precise.

Remove these and there is no post
