  1. Dragon Belly restaurant on Beach Rd Soi 3 has opened in The Moon hotel. It proclaims it produces "modern Chinese" food. This includes dim sun which is not commonly found in Pattaya, I believe. It is part of the A-One group as are many properties on that soi. I imagine it will be very busy the next few days so maybe wait a week before trying it out.
  2. A sign of weakness that will be exploited to the full by some posters.
  3. Per the menu above, fish is cod or haddock.
  4. Deep fried pensioner can be quite tasty. Be sure to ask for extra ketchup.
  5. A good example of what the City Council are actually capable of. A great event not to be missed.
  6. I bought my Blue Planet backpack at Central Marina before covid for less than 1000 Baht. It is still going strong.
  7. Very interesting, I am sure, but you have veered way off topic. Is Jimmy Krankie doing pantomime this Christmas?
  8. So the Conservatives have had more opportunity to right the wrong - but haven't. I don't particularly favour either Labour or the Tories but the fact is Labour had a manifesto commitment at the last election. Anyway, that was in 2019. No manifestos issued yet for 2024.
  9. It has lots of activities especially tailored for children. Your idea what it is is completely made up balderdash.
  10. Hard Rock, Avani and many others are family oriented resort hotels. Pattaya is all things to all people.
  11. Wasn't it an accident with a tin of tomato soup?
  12. I like those but prefer mine.
  13. Fair enough. I haven't found the food especially greasy. I order the child portion now because I cannot eat a full adult portion which is too generous for me. When they started serving a cuppa tea that was a big improvement for me.
  14. That's Argentinian.
  15. Give Sharples a try. Have branches in Patts and Jomtien with plans to go nationwide (tourist areas).
  16. A bit like this. Food of the gods.
  17. Soi 6/1 is a good place to practise. Try Fairtex on Pattaya Nua too.
  18. Hundreds of UK schools partly closed for repairs due to dodgy concrete mixes used in construction. Portakabins giving schools that retro post-war look.
  19. Can make a horrible screeching noise if over used.
  20. Back on a good run, sitting 3rd on goal difference now. Donkey bothererers at home on Saturday. Biggest League game of the season for them so we need to be on our mettle. If Man City need some decent cover for Haaland, 30 Mill will get you Dion Charles.
  21. He won a trophy and qualified for the Champion's League last season which looked like a very good start to me, though I can't stand them and wish them ill. How do they progress by sacking ETH? I can't see that they do. As a Bolton fan, I look forward to playing them again in the 2nd tier of English football any time soon.
  22. Never forget: It is an anonymous internet forum and is not very consequential in the general scheme of things. I want to be informed and entertained by the forum. I won't report anyone or put someone on ignore. We all have the right to disagree, hopefully respectfully but if not use irony, sarcasm and humour rather than personal abuse. I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Personal crrcumstances for some mean that posting is an important part of their daily routine. I respect that aspect even if I feel some of their posting seems OTT to the point of being obsessive. I regularly give likes to posts I disagree with because; as Pete Doherty sings; "it's all in the delivery". Keep up the good work, George.
