    Twelve and a half hours - it must stop at every one buffalo town en-route. I have done Bangkok to Nong Khai and it was 4 hours late setting off, cooked food was practically inedible and a very drunk Thai soldier on board waving his pistol around made the experience a one and only one for me.

    Nothing wrong with adjusting a dish to suit local tastes. It happens all over the world. Sausage and/or cheese loaded crusts are another adjustment by the same company. Don't like, don't order.

    Whilst all these politicians are investigating and impeaching each other, who is actually governing the country? The UK seems to be going the same way too. Some politicians seem to think that people are really engaged with all this back and forth whilst the truth of it is that most are sick to death of it. School yard antics.

    DK Books on Klang near Beach Road was a decent place. Covid did for them and a Japanese restaurant occupies the site now.

    Canterbury Tales normally give credits rather than cash but I would ask them to quote a cash price if I were you. Don't expect a life changing amount of money from them.
