I am not a proper fan, just an interested onlooker. I think if you dig about on Facebook you can find a lot more info than I have. -

On Friday the contractors working on the new prom on Beach Rd had their workers' bus and the bosses car moved on by the police. I'm not sure this is quite what is intended by the new ruling but hey ho.

No baht busses run there anymore from Best supermarket unless you pay 60 Baht upfront. You might as well get a motorbike taxi. Bolt maybe? Walking is the only other option.

Brewfest at Avenue Mall on Pattaya 2nd Rd is a similar operation, also Russian owned, I believe. They brew their own ale and have borchst on the menu.

Hemingways on Soi Honey (2nd Rd end) is good, nice food to soak up the ale. I hope you all round off your day with a few bottles of bubbly. Alternatively, Geordie bar on Soi Buakhao might be the one.

Not a buffet per se, but Robin Hood Tavern at Avenue Mall has a build your own breakfast menu with all items individually priced. Three choices of bacon, tinned or fresh tomatoes, eggs to your preference and a wide range of breads, cereals and fruits. I normally pay about 400 Baht, 100 of which is for fresh pressed orange juice. Food, service and surroundings are all top notch.
