Was in a beer bar on Soi Skaw Beach run by a friend of my better half a couple of weeks ago. We were there for 2 hours on a Wednesday night and were the only customers in that time from 10pm. The English owner was essentially overseeing his money draining away. I just hope they are very busy at weekends and during high season or it will be a matter of time before they close and/or sell up. No doubt others are similarly situated.
