Last November we stayed at Mandila Beach Hotel which was excellent value for money. Across the road on the beach there were plenty of food and drink options including a great craft brewery with restaurant called EastWest.

Would you seriously take them to Soi Buakhao? Does anyone plan to take tĥeir children to a red-light district when visiting a tourist destination? SB is well away from child friendly attractions. There are very 7many family friendly places to visit in and around Pattaya.

Highly unlikely. It's 2 drunks on Soi Buakhao hardly capable of laying a glove on each other. Neither needed medical treatment. They should get a small fine, nothing more. Too much faux outrage from some posters instead of common sense.

Two very poor candidates. Trump's ego is out of control and Republicans who picked him in the primaries paid little attention to the fact that he needs to win a general election. Harris was flatly rejected by Dems when she ran for the Dem candidacy in 2019. She has no noteworthy accomplishments to show from her time as VP and is widely disliked in her own party. Nikki Haley would have wiped the floor with Harris tonight and likely in a GE too. Dark times ahead in the US which is bad news for the rest of us.

Good example of a new business catering for the East Asia market (China, S Korea, HK, Taiwan, etc.) is a new soapy massage being readied on Soi Pettrakul. SP is the road that runs behind T21 and Central Marina mall and caters mostly for the South Korean market. Pegasus is the new soapy near the bottom end of Pettrakul near to where Jamesons pub is. By the by, I am seeing a lot of young Chinese and Korean males on my condo complex who have hooked up with very pretty Thai ladies. I am guessing that the ladies find these young and rich Asian partners a more attractive proposition than older Western males. Also, at the other end of Pettrakul next to T21, One (ex Bone) nightclub seems to be getting ready for another re-opening. Maybe a new name and/or new owners but a fair few personnel there yesterday inside and out.

During Covid the City Council spent a small fortune laying very fancy decorative paving in front of City Hall at a time when folk were queueing all over the city for free food handouts.
