Normally, I had no problems with immigration. But a few years ago they changed the whole staff and immigration visits became a pain in the a .... This year they refused my TM3 and my landlord who lives in Hong Kong didn't want to give me the right papers. As there was no other way out I needed to ask the services of an agent which added to my expenditure

99,99% of the Thai teachers fit that description. -
Pattaya parents outraged after teacher attacks 12 year old boy

Is the teacher not innocent until proven otherwise? My best friend (long ago) was teaching in the same school as me. One day, a girl made a police complaint that the teacher tried to rape her. She showed struggling marks on her breasts and her inner tights. The teacher was arrested and charged with attempt to rape a minor aged girl. He was married and had children, but his wife and his children left him on hearing the police charges. The whole community, a farmers settlement was ready to lynch the teacher. A few days later, before the trial, he hanged himself in jail. The girl was questionned by a inspector team and admitted that she fabricated the whole story because the teacher gave her bad results. Take care what you wish for with your words.- 49 replies

Thai woman arrested in Bangkok for pimping out girls aged 14-16

Can we be kept updated about this story or is this a single news header without follow-up? -
It's up to everybody to make their own decisions. I have no partner/relation in Thailand and I don't have the intension to look for a Thai partner neither. So, that point does not count for me. I felt more lonely in Thailand than in Spain. I don't know the UK and which rules ate hold by the UK. But I know Belgium and I have returned back to Belgium several times for healthcare. In 2018, I was diagnosed with an impending Aorta rupture and the surgery in Thailand was out of my budget. I went to Belgium and had the surgery done about 3 weeks later. I went to Belgium for a replacement of my PM and surgery was performed a day after my arrival. Spain has similar laws as Belgium (EU country) and in the worst case, a flight from Spain to Belgium is only a few hours. A knee replacement, or any other suregery in Thailand may look cheaper as your country. But what if the surgery goes awry? Suppose you go to a hospital for an eye surgery and you lose your vision? In Belgium/Spain the hospital/doctors will be sued by the healthcare and you will be entitled to benefits as a visual impared patient. In Thailand you will have nothing, or maybe a way and a basket of health drinks. A lot of people made the decision to leave Thailand, with their partner, and none of them regret to have taken that decision. A friend of mine, who was teaching Engarish in an International school was fed-up with his life in Thailand and returned to the USA 5 years ago with his Thai wife and his Thai children. He has now a house in Florida, 2 SUV's and a good employement at a school. The house and the cars are all paid off. His wife has her own Facebook page and sell's at the market and online Thai food/sweets and is very succesful in this. Again, everyone has to make his own decision ...

Can a lady do a Kidney Dialyse? No hospital visit needed?
-
Yes, HERR FRITZ And now get lost!!!!
-
And where do you read in that quote anything about the immigration police. You are a sad loser Her Frits
-
Hilarious Herr Frits refutes a thread about getting an iD card for my daughter and all of the sudden the thread has changed to tax laws. Go back to kindergarten and amuse some little kids there.
-
Getting health insurance is not only expensive but it is useless when you are suffering from these diseases already. Thanks
-
EU health Support is only valable in Thailand if your stay is a vacation. EU healthcare insurance doesn't pay if your stay is not a vacation. Kaw Yai?
-
And many lawyers, and Thai immigration police who were involved in this case didn't know Thai laws as well. Lucky that the Here Frits Seaking is a specialist on Thai laws What a plonker Here Frits is.

I pay taxes in my country which has tax agreements with Thailand (double taxation agreements). The system of "free healthcare" in my country is based on the agreement that I paid for the "free healthcare" of other citizens and I am entitled to the same "free healthcare". That's not "sponging" according to my books.

I don't give a rats a... about your opinion. When I went with my daughter to several places in korat to apply for an iD card for my daughter, I was told everywhere that the application needed to be signed by the THAI mother. Despite that I was having the sole parenthood.

I went to Thailand to do a job for the company where I was working. Not for the girls or the Ladyboys. If you came to Thailand for the girls it says enough of who you are.
-
I didn't have any "THAI female" company since my divorce in 2010. If people are happy to spend all their life savings on a greedy THAI family, it's up to them. Not me.

I had yesterday for dinner a Fish and Chips at a beach resto with Music. The Fish was a big junk of REAL seafish (not the Tilapa fish like in Thailand). Had also a big portion of French Fries. And the salad had black and green olives. On each table was a basket with bread and a bottle of olive oil (free use). I had also a glass of wine. Total bill: 12.99 EUR About the same price I would see in Phuket or so.

Irish people are considered to be half Spanish. As for yourself, a lot of British people living her and not giving a rats a..e about the UK. Just enjoying their life.
-
I have 1 big bedroom and one sleeping couch in the living. I am alone, so place enough for visitors. I am working now on getting back my Spanish nationality which will give me additional benefits as I am 65+. Slowly, but good.

From 1999 to 2002, I was working in a factory in Rayong. No choice about where I wanted to live. In 2002, I went with 2 other guys from the factory in Rayong to Nakhon Ratchasima to start our own company. No choice about where I wanted to live. In 2010, I divorced my Thai spouse but kept the parenthood of my daughter. My daughter was studying in Nakhon Ratchasima and it was impossible to move elsewhere with my daughter. According to Thai law, the THAI MOTHER keeps being the sole responsable for her children and nothing was possible without the permission of the mother. I had to contact many times lawyers and the Immigration Police because the mother could not be traced and I needed URGENT DOCUMENTS for my daughter. Example: In 2009, a new law was introduced that all children had to apply for an ID-Card from the age of 9. I went to several Townhall's, tourist Police, Lawyers, etc. to apply for an ID-Card for my daughter, but everywere I got the same answer: I needed to go to the Townhall where my wife was registrered and ask them to trace my wife. No choice about where I wanted to live. In 2018, I went to Belgium for an urgent life threatening surgery. I went to Belgium with my daughter. 3 months later I returned to Thailand in a very bad condition and spent most of my time with friends who took care of me. Read: www. child-abduction.net In 2022 I had plans to return to Europe, but that was IMPOSSIBLE due to the Covid history. Every person is different.

This was discussed in a previous thread. No need to go trough everything again (which is irrelevant to this thread).
