  1. LOL.....Of course....to "use" a card as I stated, usually means you need a PIN. The OP is asking about other documention/ID and I just meant, a bank card from Bangkok Bank is all that is needed by them.
  2. I was just there and made 3 deposits between December and mid-March. All I did was use my Bangkok Bank card in the machine and made the deposit, nothing asked of me at all.
  3. Not a fan of them myself but a friend asked me if anyone knew of any companies that build/sell/deliver Teak Knock-Downs? He is just east of Korat near Ban Hua Tam Nob, Nong Bunnak, and found 3 companies, in Kalasin, Roi Et, and Ang Thong, but all require a 4:00-4:30 hour drive and wondering if anyone knew any companies closer to him / the Korat area? Told him Google was his friend but he only found these 3 locations. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Can look up the prices of these guys if you're in Pattaya......did a 4 pc bridge 2 yrs ago at 1/2 the price than home (Canada) and perfectly done, professional service, no complaints! https://pidcdental.com/dental-fee/
  5. Thanks and yes, done this my last 2 times here. I actually thought it was odd too doing it this way but they actually told me to do this from the Thai office in Ottawa so did as they suggested.
  6. Came in on a 60-day E-Visa last year and 90 day ticket. I didn't even wait for them to ask me in Canada or at the Immigration counter in Bangkok and with my ticket, presented the extension paperwork I would take to Pattaya / Jomtien Immigration before the 60-day ran out. I had printed off the on-line form with all my information filled out to show them I knew the process and was even told in Canada, with a smile, that this wasn't my first time doing this......and they were correct!
  7. Don't matter if he intentionally did it or not, me thinks she just may think twice before nagging him again.....especially if he's into the sauce !!!!!
  8. They're gathering them up!! About time!!
  9. The bf went to the Central office in Korat last Thursday for his very first pp. Was in/out within 20 minutes and the pp was in the mail yesterday (Sunday) so I'm assuming delivered Saturday. I still can't believe it!!
  10. When I first read this 1-way system was going to be implemented, all I said was:
  11. If the idiot doesn't get deported he may think about investing in something called a fence in the future..........
  12. Went last year for a 30 day extension, showed up on time and showed the guy at the door the appointment and let me right in to the area and was only about 15 mins in and out. Mind you the day before I was there for quite a while (2-3 hrs) and I had some paperwork my landlord had forgotten to give me the day before and so I had already started the process but the online appointment worked fine for me.
  13. Won't be bashing his head on iron bars now......all padding!!
  14. Went here a year ago November for a 4 piece bridge and over 2 months and more than 1/2 the cost it would have been in Canada (we are getting free dental eventually slowly easing law in with age/phases but not free for me yet). Professional place and my dentist was western educated. Will go back next week for one of my bi-annual cleanings. Pattaya International Dental Center (price guide link included) https://pidcdental.com/
  15. Enjoy the prison noodles you POS !!
  16. Taiwan have had these for years. For myself, likely used them 10 visits or more flying right through them. That's both inbound / outbound and never been pulled in for further checks. Havent faced a Taiwanese Immigration officer in years.....no complaints here!! But my guess is they won't work as well here.....as TIT!!!
  17. I know the blurring of the face is to conceal people's identities but she's a model, an influencer, on all kinds of TV shows and they even provide her internet ("Idol" ) name along with her good old actual name to the public! Well then, I guess nobody will ever figure out what she looks like in these digital times!
  18. It's not Western Union's fault at all. But if you do want to place blame there, I suggest using "Wise". Easy to use, can do from home, and a lot less money to use! (especially compared to Western Union). But up to you!
  19. Keep fighting boys, keep fighting.........................................................
  20. Late last November in Canada I was told my sore front crown was infected and found other problems with a quote including a 4-piece bridge of over $4,300.00 Cdn. Went home and looked up the website/fees at PIDC / Pattaya International Dental Center in Pattaya as I was leaving in 10 days. Went 10 more days with a little pain and then told the very same by a PIDC dentist (schooled in the USA) and walked out after a couple more return visits with a bill after conversion of $2,050.00 Cdn. Excellent work, professionally done.....I'm not complaing!!
  21. Okay, you talked me into it, I'll say it again: "That's why I rent" ????
