The Pig and Whistle used Dory - cooked properly, it's ok - but many places under cook it and it's awful ... The place next door was Rosie O'Grady's .....

Thanks for your replies guys - We ended up going to "Moggy's bar" Was ok, but nothing to write home about i'd give it 5.5/10 at best (the "butter" on the bread and butter was appalling) .. As i was leaving, i glanced back and saw their banner claiming "Best Fish n Chips in Pattaya" ...

He told me that the process started with him going to Laos (a 10h mini bus journey) with loads of company documents from his employer's company, along with the application form - The Embassy in Laos issued the B visa and then the process at Chonbury Labour office started ... having signed dozens and dozens of forms in the office, 2 weeks later the Labour office turn up at his work place and took photos inside and outside with his thai colleagues surrounding him to prove (i guess) that he really did work there)..... As i said earlier, having found out what will be required, he won't be going down that route again ....

i think the fact that he'd need to leave the country and start the process all over again (and he tells me it was a huge pain in the ass originally), if he wants to work again, would mean he'll just stick to being retired ...

But he doesn't have the usual Non O visa with a retirement extension - he's got a Non B, with retirement extension - hence the original post ....
