Do we still have the "knob of the week" award ? or did it stop when covid came ??

"Father forgive him, for he not know what he hath done" . Bathtub asside - can't see how anyone would go for a Forza 350, when the same money would get you the ADV 350 . "yow'll learn" as they say . NC750 DCT - Not bad, but that DCT box is far from perfect .

Visa agent not responding to calls

always makes me chuckle - the folk that have never set foot in a visa agent's office - seem to be experts on the subject ..... All retirement extensions - via agent or not, are personally signed by the head of immingration - he's the boss..... -

prey tell who let you "test ride" an ADV 350 ?? the only bikes dealers have are sold bikes that were ordered months back - which dealer would be daft enough to let anyone sit on one of such bikes, let alone let them ride it ??

Passport Agent Visa Saga.
piston broke replied to marquess's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
if you haven't renewed your extension for "several months" - you are in severe over stay .... No letter from the police going to dig you out of the mire you are now in - You and only you are responsible to renew your extension - If you have trod water for months on end waiting for the visa company to sort - more fool you .... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...... -
if it's got to be a 350 "bathtub" in standard form - surely you'd be better off getting the ADV 350 ? - similar price to standard Forza, but comes with showa rear gas shocks and showa longer travel front forks plus nicer ergonomics and more upright riding position (like riding an auto dirt bike) ... and you wouldn't need a 500X either.... win win in my book..

wonder if wearing the 80 bart regular rental helmet, or the super deluxe 100 baht one.... surely some cover under the basic government insurance...? -
maybe the op is too rich to care ?

(No Homo) - Ohlins make the best m/cycle suspension - 23k for a Forza.. The Nitron ones being fitted are nearer the YSS G Series shocks, which are circa 9,500 baht ...... That's an awful lot of extra money for a few stickers, on a bike that rides and handles like a bathtub, imho surely better to spend yer hard earned on an ADV 350, which comes with Showa front forks and Showa gas shocks as standard ..and costs 35k less//

i'm waiting for the Forza "Bathtub" Edition ....... lol

New Forza 350 - Change suspensions or not?
piston broke replied to canerandagio's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
yes change the suspension as it's dire ...then again so is riding round on a "Bathtub" with lousy ergonomics ..... -
my fear about buying a second hand bike is that the km's may have been wound back ..... I would only buy from a westener who bought the bike new, and has taken the bike back to the dealers and had it serviced and has receipts to prove what has been done ..... As far as the bike being crashed / repaired - proceed with caution ....

don't like the "chopper" look / riding position .... It's like a licence to get someone to wear a bandanna ... oh - and remember the days it wasn't cool to keep saying things were "cool" - now breedin' everything is cool ....
