  1. I pity the cleaners who had to touch his bedsheet and clean his toilet when he was in Thailand.
  2. The Nigerian man has been caught in Cambodia. How did Thai immigration not catch him when he tried to live Thailand on overstay? The report also said he had unprotected sex with a woman. 142 people in Thailand are now being screened for the Monkeypox, no thanks to this selfish man. God knows how many people he infected in Cambodia too.
  3. I can't understand this. Why would your immigration not give you the residence cert when you have been doing that for 3 times already? Is there something else that we are missing?
  4. Not any branches but some branches as can be seen from the experience of some members here. The only exception is the yearly bank statement & letter for retirement purpose, I think that needs to be done at the home branch.
  5. SCB did send me a letter when they also closed down a branch at Lotus Ruamchok a while back but I haven't received any letter from Bangkok Bank yet.
  6. What I meant is that straight and bisexual can also catch it. It doesn't target the LBGT which is just pure prejudice. I remembered that was exactly the stigmatization against LGBT when HIV became prevalent but when it also affected straight people, the so-called 'medical authorities' went quiet.
  7. This is not a gay disease, anybody can catch it. Please stop stigmatizing the LBGT.
  8. It's selfish people like this guy that cause the disease to spread. Will Thailand begin to shutdown the airports again when Monkeypox spread further in Thailand? I hope the authorities ban him from coming to Thailand for x years to teach him a lesson.
  9. Why do they call it the Japanese corridor? Do they only cater to Japanese tourists?
  10. I thought Big Joke was one of the clean officers when he took over CM immigration?
  11. It's one point for speeding, ignoring a Zebra crossing, not wearing a helmet or seatbelt or using a phone while driving. Two points is for going through red lights or going the wrong way. It's about time! Thai people are notorious for breaking traffic rules, I've seen many cases of the above. Even when I am going straight on a main road, they will cut in front of you (from a small lane) and you have to make an emergency break. Many times, a near accident would have happened. Long-term residents (foreigners) are also guilty of the above traffic violations.
  12. @wharria Different people have different tasks in a big company like Makro. The counter girl responsibility is to scan the barcode and the price is calculated automatically. Blame it on the person who works at the inventory dept and who keyed in the wrong price into the computer. You can't blame the counter girl , she has to cater to thousands of customers everyday standing there with low pay.
  13. Agree . Most people only transfer monthly or a few months once so it's still alright to use the other banks.
  14. I went to the Bangkok Bank at Chang Phuak branch today and confirmed that all the bank accounts from Kad Suan Kaew have been moved here when I asked the bank officer there. I did a quick scan of the staff and the only familiar face is the KSK manager (can't remember his name) standing there. The location of this branch is just opposite the Chang Phuak bus station, this branch is more spacious than the old KSK branch. I could hardly see any westerners there unlike KSK.
  15. The problem is that Kasikorn doesn't have a 1.5 % interest rate unlike SCB online. Opening a Kasikorn account just to transfer money is a bit overkill.
  16. Ask the ladies who put silicone into their breast and the side effects.
  17. If penile enlargement really worked, there won't be so many people complaining theirs is too small. Penile surgery will lengthen but will weaken the structure so that it will be longer but softer. It's all a scam.
  18. Mine is more than 50k and I use SCB. It's extremely slow.
  19. There are many people who is willing to work for less than 30,000 baht per month. Asking for 45,000 baht is too much.
  20. Do they have a branch in Chiang Mai?
  21. Which Thai bank are you using? I use SCB and it takes 1 to 2 days.
  22. Gold will not go as low as bitcoin, so it's still a good investment.
  23. What about Hua Seng Heng? How does it compare with Aurora?
  24. Can anybody recommend a gold company with the following criteria 1. It has branches in both Chiang Mai and Bangkok 2. It sells and buy back gold bars 3. Reputable company that has been around for at least 10 years
