I think you are comparing apples and oranges and actually what actually makes sense. Wearing an N 95 mask outside for pm 2.5 makes a lot of sense, wearing a surgical mask in an outside environment due to covid makes little. Inside it would be the other way around I'd guess. Bit of a silly statement by the Deputy Mayor to make though not specifying which masks help, clearly homemade masks and surgical make no impact to pm 2.5 at all. I cant recall how much a day it is for long term, its a distance form the terminal and involves shuttle buses. Not all of it is covered either. Its next to the public transport centre. I just leave my car in the short term multi story and walk across the bridge to the terminal. All but the top floor is covered, its good value at 250 a day.

lived in Naklua 20 years, ride a motorbike and never had an issue. Just keep away from the beer bars drama queens!

I don't think we should begrudge people for having fun on their day off! Pattaya makes alot of money around this time, it's why a decision was made years ago to move it to the 19th rather than have it on the more traditional days.

Reminds me of a normal afternoon in the middle of the year walking down Sukhumvit in Bangkok when a kid squirted me with a water pistol. With all the years I have been here I have never got drenched unless hanging around beer bar. Life is quite normal the the vast majority of people.
